Port Barton is in fact not yet on tourist routes. Between Puerto Princesa an El Nido is this true jewel of the Philippines. I need to ride a van for 3 hours from Puerto Princesa and then 1.5 hour ride by boat to arrive to Secret Paradise but its worthwhile the effort. In the idilic Turtle Bay far from the...

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights in the Orchid cottage, the room was comfortable but in terms of toiletries make sure you bring your own because there aren't any shops close by. We totally loved it and we will definitely be back in the years to come. The hotel is located 4+ hours travel time from puerto...

We had a warm welcome from Pong, excellent service from Jaan, perfect cocktails from Raol and, sorry chef I have forgotten your name, but your food was excellent. Our room overlooked the bay and was spotlessly clean with efficient AC, hot shower, fridge and a very comfortable bed. There was a TV but we didn't use it, we preferred looking...

My wife and I were looking for a place to relax after our business trip to Manila. We sought solitude not magnitude. Secret Paradise Resort is a throw back to what it must have been like before 747 plied the Pacific skies. Small cottages with thatched roofs, and only six of them. But hot water, great service, and great snorkeling...

The location is really beautiful and the owner has done an amazing job of protecting his little bay (no fishing allowed), as a result is has some really great snorkelling. The coral is not particularly amazing colour wise (but is getting there) and, like anywhere, if it has been rough the water can be a bit cloudy. However, there is...

This was our fourth time traveling around the Philippines and this resort is without question the best we have ever visited. My wife and me spend 5 nights in SPR. It was our first resort during our trip in Palawan. In short, the positive things: beautiful, peaceful bay and lovely surroundings. Friendly staff, special thanks to Bong (but our cleaning lady and guides were very friendly too). Occasionally we left luggages open during the daytime with valuables available, but no worries,...

We spent 3 days and 4 nights of our honeymoon at secret Paradise and we loved the family vibe to the place. With just 6 cottages we got to know most of the guests and the owner and his team gave us a warm welcome. We were surprised to find that the owner is a Brit and you could definitely...
