Our Lodge has ten cabins and several RV sites. The cabins can accommodate from 2 persons up to six in the largest one. You may choose an American plan stay, which includes all meals, or cook your own in your cabin. Our large dining room accommodates up to 25 people if you choose the American plan but is not a standard restaurant. There are two other restaurants in the area for your convenience, just ask at the office. The RV sites have water and electric hook-ups and there is a dump station for visitor and public use. Three RV sites are right on the water with a lovely view, or there are sites on the hill closer to the public washroom for those campers not fully self-contained.

We can't say enough about the hospitality we received from Rob and Loretta. They are WONDERFUL hosts who are very accommodating and want to ensure their guests are satisfied. The meals were great, the cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable and the boat was always fully prepared for us. Unfortunately the bite was off in terms of fishing but that's nature. However, the scenery and views were well worth the trip.

We had a wonderful stay. Rob and Loretta are fantastic hosts. Always concerned for our interests, ensure boat is ready to go and shore lunch packed.
We spent 6 days on the full package. Meals were generous portions “comfort food”. Deserts were always a delicious surprise.
Fun watching several long trains pass by the resort daily.
BTW. Scenery is beautiful.

Evening view from down by the lake. This is the perfect place for swimming in crystal clear waters. There is a large swimming platform with a park bench to relax and enjoy the scenery. The wooden ladder is easy on the feet for the swimmers.

Whether you're looking for an outdoors themed getaway or just a place to spend the night, you really owe it to yourself to check out Gogama Lodge. The whole place has been lovingly updated and is meticulously maintained. They offer several beautiful and fully equipped cabins, serviced campsites, main lodge building, and large enclosed gazebo with fireplace all on an easily accessible property overlooking beautiful Minisinakwa Lake. As great as the amenities are, the real treasure here are Bob, Jan, and Rory. The proprietors became instant friends with their genuine concern for our comfort and enjoyment. Gogama Lodge is biker friendly, but we may go back to enjoy a lakeside getaway for fishing and paddling. Hunters, sledders/ATVers, boaters, and peace-and-quiet seekers would be thoroughly happy also. I've got 160 reviews on TripAdvisor and have stayed in a lot of places, but Gogama Lodge stands head and shoulders above most if not all the others. Do youself a favour and book it

I have over 335 reviews on Trip Advisor. I have been in over 35 countries and countless B&B, motels, hotels, and hostels.
In all that time and travel, I have never received the level of warm and welcoming hospitality I received at the Gogama Lodge.
A truly remarkable and unique guest experience.
Jan and Bob have a natural and sincere love of their business and their guests and they go above and beyond in making you feel welcome at their lodge.
The pride they feel in their lodge is obvious in the cabins, grounds, dining hall, gazebo and complete enterprise.
You have a wonderful panoramic view of the lake from the cabins.
Our cabin had a casual, informal elegance in keeping with a rustic wilderness motif throughout the lodge. It was capacious with two bedrooms and four beds and a fully stocked kitchenette. The A/C worked lovely, the flat screen TV kept us abreast of the days happenings, and yet was unobtrusive to those in the sleeping quarters.
If you are looking for a hospitable, remarkable, memorable, enjoyable, stay along 144 then this hidden little gem is highly recommended.

Difficult to put into the true perspective the experience one gets at Gogama.
One could start at your arrival at any hour of night Jan has a wonderful ( snack as she says) waiting in your room full meal to a Texas boy.
Bob and Rory make the rest very special from the rooms to the boats. I will return for my third year . Long haul from deep in Texas but an awesome experience.
Remember to ask for Jans coconut cream pie

We spent two nights at the Lodge and were completely satisfied with the experience. The cabin was comfortable, well equipped, and had fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was spacious and clean. WiFi worked well. There was a grill on the porch and a fire-pit with lawn-chairs in the meadow in front of the cabin.

If you visit, keep in mind that Gogama is a small community far away from large cities. Timmins is about 1.5 hours drive and the nearest truck stop is about 20 miles away. Prepare accordingly. We took advantage of the meal plan offered by the hosts. It was a good decision -- the food (breakfast/lunch/supper) was great, reasonably priced, and there was plenty of it.

The hosts of the Lodge must be mentioned separately. Jan and Bob are very friendly and personable. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and problem-free. It was a pleasure to spend time with them.

In short words, if you want to stay at a lodge, I can strongly recommend this one.

The staff, family and accomodations were amazing. They really went out of their way to accommodate my family reunion and several visits since. I love this place and it is now my "go to" place. They are courteous, friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I stayed here one night. We wanted to go somewhere off the highway and close to water. We were not disappointed. From the moment we got there we were made welcome from the friendly owners. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. There is no AC but we left all the windows open and a beautiful breeze flowed in to keep it comfortable. I would highly recommend and hopefully we will get back there again with the rest of our family for a longer visit

Just had the opportunity to stay at this excellent resort with these amazing hosts. From first contact, and more importantly when we first arrived, we were made to feel more than welcome, far exceeding expectations. The service, food and accommodations really did exceed what I had in mind. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to a forest fire which was too close for comfort, and of course the abrupt exit was accommodated professionally. I could not provide a higher recommendation!
