Stayed here for work and so disappointed in the room. The sheets had stains the evening I arrived and the surfaces were thick with dust. I reported this to reception and asked it to be sorted - sheets were changed when out the next day but surfaces remained dusty and sticky brown stains on one surface, despite asking for a deep room clean. Overall the room and hotel were incredibly tired - stained/bleached carpets, ripped bed linens, cobwebs, dirty plugs in sink, dirty bathroom floor, dirty walls, no plugs at bed. The room and hotel were also incredibly warm for the whole stay, making it very difficult to sleep. The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade and I would be looking to stay elsewhere on my next work trip. The Starbucks next door for breakfast is the only saving grace.

We stayed here when visiting Folly Farm. The male receptionist needed customer service training, but the lady was far more helpful. I would have expected a higher standard of cleanliness due to Covid. it wasn't so much the surface dirt, but the ingrained ground in dirt. The carpet between the door and the entrance to the bedroom area was filthy and needed a good deep clean. The bathroom floor needed a good clean - you could see the dirt on the skirting boards and in the bend of the flooring, and the first time I used the bathmat, when I picked it up, the underside was filthy. There is a high level of traffic noise which only seemed to stop between midnight and 6am - I know they can't help this, but it was too hot to close the window and too noisy to open it. I didn't think it was value for money at all, and would not stay here again unless vast improvements were made.

Excellent reception staff on arrival who gave us details of places to eat and avoid which was appreciated. Room clean on arrival and fresh towels etc on request throughout our stay. Starbucks on the car park. Plenty of parking spaces every day.
