We recently stayed at the Inn at Spences Bridge for a big birthday event. I was thrilled to see what an excellent job the new proprietors Dorothy and Michael are doing with this historic inn. They have embraced the history and charm of the place and are refurbishing it beautifully! Their service is warm, friendly and supportive. They helped to...

The Inn at Spences Bridge is a hidden gem. Going there for a private party I expected a basic room with little or no amenities, but the staff, quality of service and the facility itself far exceeded expectations. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious (super comfortable beds). The inn is full of interesting historical elements and a lovely deck...

The room was a cute period room, very clean, with a private bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The Inn itself is a local historic piece of architecture and there are lots of interesting photos and memorabilia within that are very interesting. The back patio and yards have a great view of the river.

It was our second stay at the Inn! Once again we had a wonderful time. We love the history of the Inn and the town. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, sitting on the deck overlooking the river is so peaceful! The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and you feel like you are really going back it time...

It's one of those places that you pass by on your way somewhere else, so I was curious. I decided to add it to my photography road trip itinerary. Right away after I reserved I got a message with some tips on staying there, where to eat and such, which was very thoughtful. Mike and Dorothy just took over the...

This was history.... Loved the room, and having drinks with the Innkeepers on the deck overlooking the Thompson River. They have put their hearts into this inn and it shows and you can feel it. This will always be a stop for us.

We fell in love with this hotel ( an authentic hotel from gold rush days) but being modernised as I write. Dorothy and Mile are amazing hosts...nothing too much problem, full of information and very hard working. More like a bed and breakfast home than a hotel.Guests tend to talk to each other. We are bird lovers and I was...

Following an absolutely fun and fantastic raft ride down the Thompson River with Hyak River Rafting in Lytton (a highlight of our summer), my partner and I decided to stay the night at this Inn at nearby Spences Bridge. Upon check in, the recent new owners (Mike and Dorothy) gave us a warm welcome, and Mike shared some history of...

Was playing the Desert Daze Festival was staying at the regional campground down the road and after a Friday evening there were musicians staying there from the festival so decided to meet up and pick some tunes. Was a nice quiet evening with music on the back deck and owners were very appreciative and kind. Went back next morning cause...

The hotel's new owners are friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in preserving this historic place. In addition, they took us swimming in the Nicola river and told us how to hike to a nearby waterfall. Watching the trains pass and the Thomson river from the patio was a memorable experience.
