I had a lovely stay in the Granary with my 3 children (aged 21,18 and 12) for 5 days. We all really enjoyed an old fashioned break with board games and spent lots of time in games room and on the tennis court. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack was great. It's easy to drive to the...

We last came in 2015 and it's just as lovely as we remember it and Liz and Gordon every bit as delightful and helpful. This time we came right at the beginning of January, almost on the spur of the moment, and it was cosy and warm and the perfect wind down after Christmas. We felt completely at home and...

We stated at the Granary Cottage for a week on 16th July & what an amazing week we had! The grounds are beautiful & the cottage was so well equipped, the best we have ever stayed in. In a very peaceful location but with plenty to do at the cottage with a wonderful outdoor pool, tennis court & games room....

My wife, myself and two teenage sons (16 and 13) have just returned from a fantastic week staying in the B & B part of Barritshayes. The accommodation is more than your average B & B with a large double bedroom with sitting area, a large twin room and separate bathroom all of which were to a high standard and...

We had such a lovely week staying here! The owners are friendly and helpful and the setting is absolutely lovely. 'The Dairy' cottage is clean, modern and tastefully decorated whilst retaining the character of the building. The small garden is a welcome addition in this peaceful location and ideal for a barbeque and a glass of wine. It was also...

We have just got back from a week staying in The Granary cottage. The grounds are beautiful with plenty to do and the owners are really friendly and accommodating. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. We'll definitely be returning.

Long weekend away. Absolute peace and quiet, privacy, very dark skies and good sleep quality (except for the noisy pheasant one morning!). Is advertised on the website as having WiFi. This was not working during our stay, and was apparent in the guestbook that this was not the first time. We did not choose the property based on having WiFi,...

Sincere apologies for the lack of wifi. The problem has been resolved temporarily with a reset and the next step, which will be put in place in the New Year, is to hard wire into our router to avoid the vagaries of using the electrical wiring to boost the signal. The Wi-Fi in the cottages works well in closer proximity...

We had a fantastic time from start to finish! On arrival, the family were pressing the apples from the orchard and delivered the most tasty apple juice to us. A great way for the trip to start! The accommodation was perfect for us and the children. The farm is brilliant. Games room, tennis court, croquet and a swimming pool (although...

We had stayed at the cottages many times before and they are superb. This time we tried the B&B and it was fantastic! We were in a wing of the farmhouse and had our own sitting area, as well as use of the conservatory and pool if we wanted. The bathroom was clean and fresh, with all modern equipment and...

Stayed at Swallows Cabin - it was perfect for us and we had a wonderful weekend, from being greeted by Gordon and given a tour of the properties together with some tips for walks, restaurants and places to visit, to meeting Liz who sorted out a problem with our River Cottage booking (you must go for Sunday lunch), introducing us...
