We stayed in the Swallows log cabin for a short midweek break. Due to unforseen circumstances we arrived very late in the day but Gordon was very welcoming and friendly, as was Liz when we bumped into her later in our stay. The cabin is well equipped and modern but also has a lovely cosy homely feel. Having access to...

We stayed in The Dairy, one of two self catering cottages, the Dairy having two bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed. This was our second visit and our mini break was just as wonderful as last year. The games room was a godsend, keeping our small children occupied, and also mummy and daddy....

Barrithayes is a peaceful farmhouse that offers B&B, and a couple of SC holiday lets in converted farmyard buildings. We rented the Dairy, a small but clean and well stocked little unit with a double bed and 2 bunks, which was ideal for a young family. I think it would be a bit of a squash with teenagers, but there...

We spent 5 lovely days in the Swallows cabin in April. Liz and Gordon were welcoming and provided some essentials and flowers on our arrival. Our dog was made welcome. The cabin, which is well equipped and cosy, has a large field for private use from which extensive views can be enjoyed. At night the stars were amazing. The country...

Barritshayes is possibly one of the loveliest places we have ever visited. We have stayed in one of the self catering barn conversions and also the B&B. The accommodation is excellent. It is immaculate. yet comfortable and cosy. Both Liz and Gordon are fantastic hosts, they are incredibly accommodating and friendly. The facilities they offer are tremendous, the pool is...

This delightful farmstay has everything we needed to unwind after a hectic time. Liz and Gordon are classic hosts, warm, respectful and obliging. Our B&B bedroom was large and comfortable, looking out over green meadows. There are also units, some in the old stables, which are very appealing for self catering for a longer stay. Close by we visited Pecorama,...

Sixteen artists from Broadstone Dorset arrived and filled all the beds....everyone was happy, using the pool and studio. Every thing was cosy, and the breakfast delicious, we were able to paint on site, as the scenery was magnificent.. Liz was kind enough to judge our work at the end, which made the four day break such fun. We will be back!

Fantastic hospitality and great attentive attitude, we'd definitely like to stay again! The 'swallows cabin, is so cute and cosy, amazing location, friendly animals and absolutely stunning views! The cabin was extremely tidy, equipped with modern appliances, super warm, fab modern rooms and just extremely isolated - it felt like our own little hideout. Liz and Gordon were kind enough...
