We were made very welcome by Francis, and shown to our lovely room. We were delighted with so many things, such as a window in our bathroom, little bits such as cotton buds and cotton pads as well as luxury toiletries, cosy fleece blankets and a extremely well stocked hospitality tray. Just along the corridor was a treasure trove which...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Old Bakehouse and we loved it. You are made to feel really welcome. The room was a nice size and very comfortable and quiet. The location is a few yards from a great pub that has excellent food. And best of all are the super breakfasts.

Following our booking, what we felt was an extremely nice touch, was a personal handwritten letter from Frances confirming our stay. On our arrival we received a very warm welcome, shown our parking space, and a tour of the establishment. From the onset nothing was too much trouble, our room was delightful, with attention to detail. Amazing place, full of...

We arrived roughly when we said we would and Frances quickly appeared to show us the parking, our room, help carry bags, make or 6 y-o daughter feel at ease. This level of service continued until we left, friendly, to hand but not intrusive until the moment we reluctantly left. The room was very nice with everything one could reasonably...

I spent two nights here while speaking at a conference nearby. Frances is wonderful, with the warmest of welcomes after a long drive. Nothing was too much trouble, tea and biscuits and a really flexible approach to parking, bag carrying and all the creature comforts you might want. Plenty for breakfast with specially cooked scrambled eggs perfectly timed. Will have...

We stayed for two nights in the family room with extra bed. The B&B is beautifully decorated with lots of pictures and photos on the walls and lots of books to read. There is a fridge for guest use too. France's was the most wonderful host, even opening up the dining room for us to eat our fish and chip...
