The accommodation is convenient for breaking one's journey. We found the reception staff very friendly - a pleasure to deal with. The room was reasonably clean and the sheets were clean BUT the bed quilt was not clean it had what looked like drops of dried blood on it - threw it on the floor and made use of my...

This hotel is perfect for an overnight stop - it is really simply a place to rest your head and have a shower and get going again the next morning. The room was perfectly adequate, with coffee making facilities, clean towels and generally clean overall. I would stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel on the way to George and upon our return. Conveniently situated next to the N1, and could not hear the traffic on the motorway. Has a pool. Rooms are very basic, but very clean. Food and drinks only available at select times, so you may need to travel into town to eat. Room had been sprayed...

The place is old and not well looked after. The aircon made such a noise it would be impossible to sleep there. The bath was filthy. The kettle stained so badly. There were hardly any guests there which make you feel unsafe. The pictures on the web is misleading. We decided to rather just push through and go home. At...

We made a last minute booking for a place to sleep in Colesburg as we had not really planned ahead. The rates were R750 a room per night bed for a room with a bath and R850 a night for a room with a shower! We rate supper and paid R100 for lamb chops with chips and veg and R20...

Thank you Marino Inn for a clean room and clean towels. We were a bit dissapointed in the service when we arrived, we were tired and would have appreciated better service, but a good nights stay made up for it.

Popular place to stop over between Cape Town and Johannesburg or Durban. Poorly signposted when headed in a Northerly direction. Likely to miss the turnoff at night. Request the "best" rooms. A little more expensive but comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the bathroom has been neglected and shower in poor state of cleanliness. The food, surprisingly, for dinner and breakfast, was...

Ideal place to stay when you are on a bus tour . The room was comfortable with all the facilities available. The dinner and the breakfast were good. The lady at the reception area was friendly and helpful.

Cold rooms in winter no working aircon / heater. Bad taste breakfast. The owner is not into hospitality. Expensive for a rundown for R700.00 per night. If i was not travelling by business i rather sleep in my car next to KFC.
