What a disappointment. The building was as beautiful as the pictures, but we had a terrible reception. The electricity went out during the night, and our hosts made no attempt to give us extra blankets or start a fire in the huge fireplace. As a result, we froze all night. When

Dear Jennifer, We know that it can be terrible to arrive soaking wet after walking to our B&B in the cold and damp weather. Upon your arrival we offered you a hot cup of tea and biscuits to warm you up and mentioned our service bell for any other needs you may have. We are sorry you refused our invitation to drive you to and from the restaurant so that you could have had a hot meal before retiring and preferred just a cup of tea and biscuits. A service bell is available 24/24 for any of our clients’ needs and it was mentioned upon your arrival. We regret that a major power outage that covered the entire island happened in the middle of the night (around 3 AM) and made it impossible for us to react to your needs or to prepare breakfast as offered, we did however offer transportation to your car so you could have a decent hot breakfast off the island. We offered all our guest that morning, you included, a $30.00 discount on their stay for not being able to have the promise breakfast; we also offered transportation to your next destination and to call ahead to ensure your reservation, which you refused. As we all know when Mother Nature strikes we must try to adapt. We are shocked to read your final note as we pride ourselves in our customer satisfaction and in our professionalism. Louise and Marc Dans les bras de Morphée B&B

I visited this B&B on Labor Day weekend this year. Marc and Louise could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They know the island very well and were able to help us plan our daily outings. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. As far as the food goes, the 3

A lovely, quaint, charming, comfortable, old-school B&B in St-Jean. Marc and Louise are wonderful hosts, and they take exquisite care of their guests in English and French. Grounds are lovely, and they sell Marc's regular, lavender and creamy honey that's also on shelves all ov

Wanted to stay at the B&B September 20,21, and 22nd. I tried to contact them 4-5 days In advance (short notice) as we were just driving around Quebec with no set plans. I e-mailed them 3 times and phoned twice and they didn’t even bother to return either my calls or e-mail. Busi

I've been trying to reach this B&B today as we would like to make a reservation before booking our flights. First no answer and now the user is busy. I also emailed from the Canada website. Are they still open? THank you.
They are not often open in the rude Canadian Winter. Leave them a message on their website and call again later. It is worth the work you will be doing. I am still dreaming about going back and have my 3-course Breakfast, yes breakfast. You will love it. Make sure to bring back honey and honey candies.

I also am wondering if this B&B is having problems retrieving emails. I have had no response to a reservation request I sent over a month ago.
Is this B&B closed? I emailed them twice (once through their own website and once through the B&B Canada website) and also left a phone message, but I did not get any reply.
Bonjour, Sorry for the inconvenient. We have change our e-mail address and phone company recently. For your information our new e-mail address and phone numbers are on our web site. Please accept again our appology for the this. If you have any question, please do not hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Louise and Marc
