Old bedrooms, dirty bathrooms, dirty sheets. There was no toilet paper. There was AC but to noisy. The recepcionist was kind at least. Kuala Besut has nothing to do, if you can don´t stay even to spend the night and go straight to the Perhentians.

This is not hotel - more looks like an apartments or backpackers place. Small room with no toilet paper. Fan is not working appropriate so u feel yourself quite warm and even hot. Toilet has lots of problems - nothing is working good. If you go to "free youself with food" - be sure u will need a stick to...

One can stay there if there is no other option. We stayed there for 2 nights, as we had to travel to Perhentian islands for snorkelling, as diving was closed there due to off-season. We took a room at RM 69, without aircon. Was surprised to find out that the water sewer pipe from the sink was not connected with...

Handy place to sleep before taking first boat to Perhentians. It's about an hours taxi ride from Khota Bharu airport (80 myr). We didn't make a reservation and ended up knocking on the door at 11pm, welcomed in by the sweet grandma who didn't seem to mind. Cheap (about 70 myr), clean, AC, a little dingy, no hot water, and...

I had no choice but to sleep here... The room was average but clean, the service quite poor and the price a bit expensive. The bathroom was tiny and the shower had almost no water pressure. The only good thing was the presence of a grill door to access the rooms. Free wifi only in the lobby.

If you have better options to opt for, then this is definitely not for you. I stayed here as nearby hotels were full and I was travelling alone. I paid RM79 for an air-conditioned room. The room was generally clean if you ignore the stains on the wall and aged furnitures in the room. Still, for a one night stay,...

We stayed there for one night, arrived at 11pm and paid RM 65 for our room. My roommate says that he woke up during the call for morning prayer and yes it was loud but luckily I am hard to wake :-p If you want, request for rooms at the end of the corridor. Our friends stayed in one of...

If you're going to perhentians and you have to sleepover in kuala besut, you have almost no choice but to sleep in this hotel. it's actually the best one in this village, compare to other sleeping rooms located on the south part of town. beds are bad and small, walls are thin.

We were in the same situation as everyone else - staying the night for the morning ferry, we had to stay in the first floor fan room for 35rm, cheap, but you get what you pay for. Sleeping was virtually impossible as the fan was useless, and with no windows or fresh air it turned into a sweat box. It...
