We have just returned from a lovely week stay in Toms Barn with our dogs Louie and George. The barn is situated on the edge of Parwich a pretty village with an abundance of walks from the door step. Toms Barn is one of two coverted barns which makes dogs and guests extremely welcome. We were greeted with a very...

We spent a most relaxing week in Douglas's Barn and can not praise it highly enough. It is well-equipped with high quality cooking utensils, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier etc. Loads of books and maps providing ideas for walks and days out. Warm and cosy if weather is inclement (which it was occasionally) and the luxury of a jacuzzi bath...

We had a fabulous Valentine weekend in Douglas barn. Angela, the owner, had added extra touches, candles, heart cakes and roses, which were lovely and set the scene. The barn is wonderful, with everything you could ever need. It's warm and cozy, and lovely to come back to, after visits to nearby Peak towns and villages. Lovely local food in...

WArrived a bit early, but were warmly welcomed, in fact there was a home made chocolate cake along with other things such as butter milk bread etc..... The barn is very well equipped with all you need. For me the one thing I dislike is poor quality knives and cooking equipment, I normally pack my own, but on this visit...

Where to start. We stayed in Toms Barn and took our pug for a mid week break. The photos don't do the barn justice, it's so much lovelier when you're there in person. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Every kitchen utensil you could need, books, games, iPad, dressing gowns etc. The jacuzzi bath was...

We had the most amazing weekend stay at Douglas's Barn and enjoyed every minute of it. Ange and Robert made our visit so memorable and were such fantastic hosts. The barn had all the kitchen essentials to make a hearty meal and keep us comfortable. There were eggs, bread, homemade marmalade, cake and butter etc. on arrival, which for us...

It was such a pleasure to be part of this happy event. It is the first engagement I have had in the barns although I have lots of other great celebrations take place there. I wish you both the best for the future.

Just returned from a fabulous week in Douglas's Barn. We arrived on Friday afternoon to a warm welcome from Angela, who showed us round the barn, which had everything we could wish for, for a very comfortable stay. There was a welcome tray on the dining table with a delicious home made lemon drizzle cake, just what was needed after...

We stayed here for 10 nights in June. We prefer to self cater, so I was keen this time round to make sure all our requirements were met. I wanted to make sure we had a superbly equipped kitchen, with a large enough fridge and freezer to serve us during our stay. The last thing you want on holiday is...

My Husband and I spent a week here recently and had a great time. The barn was lovely, equipped with everything needed and was cosy and comfortable. We particularly liked the bedroom which was spacious and the bed really comfy. We would recommend Douglas's Barn to anyone who likes their home comforts, with lovely scenery, great walks and friendly people....
