Don't go, please don't go. If you go you'll love it and tell your friends and they'll go and then when I go back it will be full. Unless of course you don't want a quiet parradise on a stunning beach with fabulous wild life. If you don't want Victor to tell you about how the chef can cook the...

Thanks so much for your refreshing and fun review! Personally, I don't think reverse psychology will work here with such great remarks about our natural surrounding, beautiful beach and great service. Come back soon!

Located right on a small isolated beach. True Costa Rican vibe. Fresh local food with great service. A local helped us pick the place. We came for a few days and stayed for a week(!) Would definitely come back, this time with kids...

Thank you for extending your stay with us! We do hope you return with your family soon; Sugar Beach, with the abundant widelife sharing the hotel grounds is a favorite with our younger guests.

Our stay here was arranged by Costa Rica Vacations and their local knowledge helps to pick the best spots. This facility is carefully managed and staffed by the best. It is sort of isolated on its own beach and is a local favorite for Tico families on the weekends. The sound of the surf makes for excellent sleeping - our...

We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay at Sugar Beach! We will pass along the compliment to the reception staff - we find that they are always more than happy to help. Sugar Beach remains a great spot to unwind, unplug or live with, or like, the howlers eating & resting! We appreciate that you have taken the...

Hotel Sugar Beach is a wonderful getaway, located right on a small isolated beach north of the busy touristy beach towns of Tamarindo and Potrero. We stayed for 4 days. It's very secluded and quiet. Because of its location, unless you have a car (we didn't), you will probably just stay at the resort and eat your meals there. This...

Dear Bill B. We appreciate you view of Sugar Beach very much as this is what we aspire for daily! We try to maintain the property in ways that allow the wildlife to thrive in their own familiar forest, keep the service level high and the prices affordable. Thanks again!

What a wonderful place, heaven on earth indeed! The only thing that exceeded the beautiful and idyllic surroundings were the people. Pablo, Gaby, Melissa, Gama, Sven, Alejandro, Eric, Victor, Issac, Leslie (I apologize if I have misspelled anyone's name) and all the rest of the wonderful people at Sugar Beach were unbelievable and never hesitated to do anything to make...

We stayed here with on a group trip for 3 nights. We felt as if we had moved into a tropical zoo. As we walked around the property we encountered the true residents of the area: monkeys, ctenosaurs (huge lizards), coati (large raccoon-like mammal), many small lizards, numerous birds, and countless insects. We were in the older cabins arrayed around...

Dear Shakespeare fan, The staff and all of the critters say Thank You for your stay! I personally love your view of us as a tropical zoo. Though we have no cages or borders, the setting allows those animals to thrive and live by choice at Sugar Beach. We are dedicated to maintaining this and the charm. We will be...

We spent four day after Xmas in a secondfloor suite. We have been here many times before through the years and this was one of our most memorable stays at SB.
