I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else than at The Gong. This is a true home, where the family makes you feel as if you ar a part of them. Not luxurious, but the rooms are just fine for a relaxing stay at Bali. If you are in need of anything the family is always there to help you getting...

There's a good atmosphere at The Gong. The family that runs the place is very nice and willing to help — they even gave us a ride to Uluwatu Temple! The food at the restaurant is good and reasonable priced. There is also good pool. I didn't like the room though. It was small, and it's hardly a issue to...

What did not like was that the breakfast was not included, had to pay. But the room was reasonable and proper care was the main family, that's what makes the captivating hotelser. A nice pool and a good location..

I have been staying at The Gong for many years now and I have seen the hotel grow over the years, which is due to their excellent commitment to seeing that all guests are comfortable and well looked after during their stay. They have an array of things to do at the hotel including, eating at the lovely, well priced...

I have stayed here several times throughout the past 3 years, most recently this month. The family that own and run it (especially Kadek) are lovely, friendly and helpful, which is why I keep coming back. It has a great atmosphere. Rooms are a good price, especially if you're on a budget, they include wifi and a pool, rooms are...

Lonely Planet was talking and suggesting this place saying not to miss it all....we didn't enjoy our stay: although staff is lovely and friendly, rooms are not very clean and bathroom are old and a bit dirty! Continental breakfast is a shame 4 pieces of bread with butter if you want some jam you have to pay for it and...

I went along to the Gong last month having no expectations of what it would be like, I joined a few friends who had already been there for a week and they holiday at The Gong every year. The first thing I noticed walking into The Gong was the traditional style of the hotel. The next was the lovely staff...

We spent only one night at the Gong but not impressed overall. Not bad but expensive for what it is: very basic. Bed is a thin mattress on a wooden plank, noisy if you toss and turn. The place is also quite loud, the external space uninspiring and basic - too bad as the pool looked nice. We did not...

This hotel is really well located (despite what Google Maps was telling us - it is just around the corner from Blue Point Villas, Uluwatu), the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and the food was great. I wouldn't recommend it for a couples weekend away but if you are travelling alone or with a group...
