We stayed one night at Trogon House while touring the garden district. It was the most decadent stay of our trip, and we wish we had stayed longer. Check out the photos for a good idea of what you can expect. We were welcomed by a friendly and attentive staff member, who also happened to be the chef who was...

This is a lovely place, but I felt that the shower and toilet areas were too open and exposed for my liking. One is in amongst the trees and on arrival we viewed a rare Knysna Loerie. The food is OK, but we had to wait for the staff to finish their breakfast before we were seated 🙄 Lisa-Mari is...

Beautiful place. Almost like a second honey moon. Extra friendly stuff. Very good food. Nice and calm. Even more breathtaking as on website promised. For us the most beautiful stay at the garden route. Hope to return one day.

We stayed at Trogan House and spa for our honeymoon in early March. The setting is the best anybody could ask for. From hearing the monkeys howling from monkey land in the early morning, to the amazing views when eating breakfast. Amazing breakfast aswel. The cottages could use abit of a touch up on some minor maintenance and upkeeping issues....

On the positive side, the setting is beautiful, the room we stayed in was all glass against a forest backdrop. It is strange feeling a little exposed to the wilderness, but you do have privacy. This is certainly a place to come and relax and get away from it all. The staff were very very friendly and welcoming. On the...

Location couldn't have been better but... - dinner was very average and overpriced - brown water in the bathroom - no credit cards facilities - the dirt road is risky, especially at night - dirty water in the pool - this place could be very charming after a stylish renovation

We had such a wonderful stay at the accommodation, relaxing and lovely hotel which some cats, dogs and a monkey on the terrace. I have just to regret that the dinner was not good and too expensive for the quality.

Virgin forest, friendly staff and beautiful rooms. If peace and tranquility is what you are after, then this is the place for you. It's not our first visit and certainly won't be our last. See you all next year!

Was lovely. Staff were incredible and although breakfast was superb, we found the dinner a bit amateurish for such an expensive place. Damaged coffee plunger in room and feel that this kind of thing should be checked regularly.

You will habe a few km of bumpy road and at the end you will reach paradise. Such a peaceful place for relaxing during your trip along the garden route. Very friendly people who are always trying to make your stay a little bit more memorable. Come here because it's worth it. Enjoy.
