Just come back from spending a weekend at Slanghoek camp site, the place I cannot fault everything well kept, clean ablution facilities, this was our 3rd visit, but owners treated us very badly this time round, we were a group of "coloured" families camping so Friday evening after 11pm the owner came to ask us to be quiet as 1 or...

Absolutely fantastic with the mountains that rises around you. the pools nearby and the tranquility. Except for animals, birds and crickets. We enjoyed two nights here and had breakfast on the first day up by the restaurant overlooking the Slanghoek valley. A shop available for your convenience that has what u need. Wood ice, cooldrinks and some extras as snacks...

My son and I went on a 'boys only' trip and stayed for 3 nights (Dec 2016) in the 2 man safari tent. The accommodation, whilst compact, was fine and the beds and linen, clean and crisp. Our en-suite also check all the boxes. Nice braai outside the tent too. The facilities included 2 lovely swimming pools, a well equipped...

Slanghoek Mountain Resort is situated in a very picturesque area. We stayed for 4 week nights in Chalet no. 5, and were fortunate that there were hardly any other guests at the resort. We were pleasantly surprised and very pleased with our accommodation and the resort's facilities (gardens, pools, lapa, etc) in general. The hiking routes on the farm and...

We booked in for two nights into the tented accommodation. A tent with a bathroom ensuite and plenty of hot water! The whole Slanghoek valley is quite spectacular with vines and fruit trees, the accommodation was very comfortable and 'different'. The grounds are well kept and there is plenty of space plus two swimming pools. We had a relaxed stay...

This beautiful farm is a great place to stay if you need some quite time out. I booked into the tented camp. The tent I stayed in had two single beds, with a chest of drawers, a microwave oven, a toaster and kettle, fridge, and an electric frying pan. It also had a table outside and two chairs. There was...

As a first time visitor to this specific valley I did not know what to expect and where to go to. Just needed to explore, walk and drive through with a few friends on Monday 28/03,until we stopped at Slanghoek Mountain Resort to buy something to eat after a long drive from Stellenbosch. Surprisingly we were welcomed at the shop...
