Lovely rooms, very comfortable and nice breakfast: all a good b&b should be. Brian and his wife are friendly and helpful: we would have no hesitation with a return visit next year. We travelled to visit relatives who live in Shannonbridge

We were on the way to visit the cliff of Moher and we decided to StopOver here. Nothing special but the room are good as well the breakfast, our bath room was big (but not the same in any room), and the owner very polite. Also large space in the courtyard for parking. Just in case !

We stayed here for a nigh during the month of August. The place is easy to find and it's not far away from a couple of places where to eat lunch/dinner. Nevertheless, the B&B hosts where a little bit cold unlikely other B&B we stayed in before. Moreover, the toilet didn't flush properly and the bed made a lot of...

Just had a great break away in this bed and breakfast with my hubby. Very friendly and accomodating hosts and lovely room. The only downside was being woken very early by other guests getting up earlier than we were, -(wooden floors and doors being closed)7.30 but hey when you are away you have to get it all in so we...

We had a good experience at Ely House. The breakfasts were very good, and the people who run the B&B are friendly and helpful. The only minus is that there isn't much soundproofing, and any sounds from the hallway can be clearly heard in the room. But this wasn't a big problem for us and we slept fine. Maybe the...

Shannonbridge was halfway for us on our journey west to east across Ireland. The owners were so great! The accommodations were lovely and we were even welcomed by Sam (the Mir adorable dog). Breakfast was great - they even had gluten free bread! The ONLY negative I have is the mattresses in our room were not great. All of us...

Great B&B, well located for visiting Athlone, Tullamore or Clonmacnoise. Shannonbridge has some great restaurants and a quant pub. A walk to see the cruisers in the evening or cross the bridge to climb the fort is fab. A trip to Clonmacnoise is a must.

The guy was awesome. We came really late, and he actually did sandwiches to us. He was able to give us some advice on running tracks too. Countryside place is nice and peaceful. Breakfast setting was supercool too! Can recommend!
