There are few places to stay in November in Wicklow, and this is fortunately one of them. A cozy, family run Inn, in the heart of the Wicklow Forest, close to great hiking. It is difficult to find up a private road, and not on most maps. Also food is not readily available in the evenings. Otherwise a very comfortable...

We had a great time here. We booked the self-guided walking tour, since we did have not much walking experience yet. They gave us wonderful routes, which we would have not walked otherwise. Everyday we got a really good breakfast and a lunch package and a map with the routes. The routes were clear enough since we have not walked...

Some fiends and I spent a six day holiday in county Wicklow and stayed at Lough Dan House. The welcome we received was excellent, we had booked the full package self-lead walking holiday, we were collected and take to the airport and the starting and finishing points of the walks. Lough Dan House is located in beautiful positon with excellent...

Sean and Teresa were great hosts who took a personal interest in our welfare during our five night stay. Sean told us many delightful stories as we drove us to the hikes/walks suggested by Teresa. Teresa is a great cook and the room and bed was fine. A great experience!

This must stand out as one of the best holidays. My son and I stayed whilst walking some of the Wicklow way. Great food, great rooms, great beds, great hospitality. Ben fell in a bog & Theresa held out her hand for his filthy clothes and returned them perfectly laundered hours later at no extra cost. Thank you Sean and...

Fabulons place with such great hosts. My husband fell in the mud while walking in the Wicklow trail and Theresa gently offered to wash and dry his jeans. The place was clean and very confortable. The food were excellent. I would certainly go back and hopefully very soon.

We stayed at the wonderful Lough Dan house for a full board 4 day walking holiday. Sean and Theresa were kind and generous hosts. Each day Theresa looked at the weather and suggested the most suitable walk and then Sean drove us to the beginning or picked us up at the end. They were even able to provide us with...

My wife and I stayed here overnight whilst walking the Wicklow Way . The accommodation was ideal , but that mile or so off the Wicklow way way he'll for my wife after a long day! Having said that Shaun would have picked us up if requested. We stayed overnight and had an evening meal which was fantastic! All served...

This is a great option if you're into fishing for hiking. Up in the mountains the view is breathtaking! When driving to the B&B you will feel like you're going the wrong way cause the road gets small with no outlet, but you're going in the right direction. B&B is way up the mountain.

A very well and professional run, but still homely, B&B. I expected a view on the lake because of the name of the B&B. However the lake couldn't be seen from the ground floor (It might be visible in the distance from one or two bedrooms). Enjoyed a good night sleep and a very good breakfast. .
