Palazzo La Loggia is an ancient palace of the XVI century, situated in the historical center of medieval Barisciano the National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga. It was fully renovated in 2010 respecting lo stile of the time and using only recycled materials and original antique furniture. Palazzo La Loggia is situated in the heart of downtown and has a large green garden where you can unwind and relax in the sun away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. My B & B is an excellent starting point to visit one of the most beautiful towns in Italy: Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

Superb stay in a wonderful place. Beautifully restored and perfectly maintained suites with all luxury - while maintaining an overall old flair. Add to this a gentle and welcoming host and you're in to a real discovery. Absolutely recommended!

We spent one night at this wonderful and cosy b&b. The room had loads of character and was full of charm. The palazzo itself looked wonderful and had lots of historical details. The garden was cosy and well taken care of. Breakfast was good (great cappuccino). Room could do with a few updates however. Shaving mirror and electrical sockets were coming off the wall and the shower was dripping. But all in all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

If this was in England you would have to book months in advance. Renovated after the earthquake the house bedrooms and gardens were simply perfect. Tucked away in a village away from main routes you can have peace quiet and solitude if you want it. I adopt the positive reviews which are fully justified.

We originally intended to stay for 4 nights at the B&B but due to the hospitaliy and friendliness of our host and the lovely location we spend another 4 nights. Barisciano is a perfect starting point to explore the different national/regional parks in Abruzzo!

You always believe that some B&B is hard to top until you experience Palazzo la Loggia. What a nice place in a small village among this beautiful landscape. Adriano and his wife spent 4 years renovating this farmhouse and have not spared with details. Rooms are wonderfully decorated, so is the main hall and everything else. Breakfast was served in the lower part of the house which used to be the stable. Imagine a buffet full of tasty, hearty and sweet items (try these amazing cakes from Adriano's mom), tables among candle lights and soft music in the background. What a great way to start the day! We were lucky to have spend 4 nights at this B&B where friendliness and service were always on the menu. Tough to beat this one...

In an otherwise earthquake village that stills shows the scars of the trauma that happened in 2009, is this beautifully restored and renovated B & B.
The rooms are a delight, packed with antiques and showing great attention to detail.
When the weather is warm there is a lovely garden with sunbeds on which to relax.
Being in transit northbound to Assisi we only stayed the one night, whereas in hindsight we should have saved longer to take better advantage of the accommodation and the stunning scenery.

Very attentive, beautiful room with functioning fireplace. Good base to visit Santo Stefano di Sessanio and the National Park. We enjoyed the breakfast with homemade cake, fresh orange juice, and tasty local cold cuts. Wifi in the room was a bit weak. Very good price quality ratio. Would definitely go back.

Lovely B&B in lovely area. Good breakfast, large rooms with lots of character plus fireplaces (and wood and firelighters). Friendly and helpful hosts. Good walking. Plenty of pretty villages to visit close by. We'd recommend Santo Stefano di Sessanio and Calascio (and the castle above it for incredible views). Not many places to eat in Barisciano but we ate really well at the Ristoro degli Elfi, Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

Adriano makes you so welcome in this family palazzo. The beautiful building is set in gardens which are perfect for your evening aperitivi. Our room was romantic and the attention to detail in the furnishings is just charming. Breakfast is bountiful and good. The palazzo is right in the heart of town so you can wander. There is not a lot to do in Barisciano but it's a good location to explore the area.
