Beautiful location out in the hills and country side of Italy. Beautiful spa, clean rooms, pool, and yard for exploring, beautiful breakfast everyday, stayed as part of a Lion's Club Tour group for 1 and a half weeks here. Never a disappointment. Every little detail is accounted for, clean gym, pretty little keys, and gourmet food.

We stayed here recently for 10 days and it was sensational. This place is stunning inside and all rooms are of the highest standard. The experience is truly authentic and you might be lucky to be the only non Italian staying and eating there. Food is brilliant, people are friendly and speak just enough English so that one can be...

We arrived late at night, weary, hungry, after a three hour drive from Rome driving through electric storms and driving rain. Once through the 7km tunnel under the Grand Sasso mountain range, we descended through rolling hills into a deepening twilight in the valleys below. Despite organising a meal for 70 people in the main restaurant, Anna, the manageress, came...

I'll admit, we had a hard time finding it - but that's where the Italian adventure begins. In Sant' Omero, at wit's end and not able to find the inn, even with 2 GPS devices -- we stopped on a street corner. Finding someone who spoke a little english, we showed him the name of the inn which we were...

When we were reaserching our travels it took some time to find this little hotel on the internet and then again it took some time to actually find it in Italy - don't trust ViaMichelin.com! Just stop to ask people in the village of Sant'omer and follow their hand gestures! But all the searching is worth every minute. This place...

This is a gem of a place to stay. It is a newly renovated 16 century farm house set in spacious grounds. We arrived after a leisurely 3 hour drive from Rome Airport, Le Grotte de Saraceni is relatively easy to find. We were shown to an upstairs spacious room which was very delicately decorated . The shower room was...

“We were located in the rooms in the new spa facility. Apparently the Italians prefer the outside garden facing rooms but I thought these rooms were amazing, quiet and completely new and fresh”
