Ambraden Pond was a highlight of our trip to Vancouver Island! The setting is idyllic and the room was comfortable and spacious. Joan and Chris made us feel right at home and served a delicious breakfast. We hightly recommend their B&B to anyone traveling in the area.

We stayed at this wonderful "home away from home" in July and we have the highest raves for this beautiful bed and breakfast!! We stayed for three nights and we were very sad to leave Joan and Chris. Joan and Chris are the perfect hosts and we enjoyed our time with them as much as we did exploring the area....

Joan & Chris are wonderful hosts. They made our wedding weekend that much more special. Beautiful house and amazing furniture. We even had our photographer come there and take our photos, as it was that stunning. Breakfast's were very unique and tasty, we enjoyed every bite! We all fell in love with Lu-Lu as well, what a gorgeous pup! We...

Reserved this b&b based on the photos on the web site. What a treat to arrive and find the pics were a true reflection of the place. Beautiful setting, large comfortable room, wood burning fireplace, decent breakfast, and a free jump when your car doesn't start in the morning. Totally relaxing.

This place was, to my mind, the perfect B&B. The place has a very clean, Restoration Hardware feel to it- simple and tastefully done with beautiful views out over a trout pond. There is a wonderful sitting room for guests with a fireplace and we opted to spend a good amount of time there, reading in front of the fire....

All of the previous reviewers do an excellent job in describing the peaceful setting and tasteful decor at Ambraden Pond. And although the other reviews also commend the gracious hosts, Joan and Chris, I cannot emphasize enough how genuine, warm, and welcoming these two people are. Now, what could make a splendid stay at a B&B better? A puppy! We...

Ambraden Pond is beautiful, fresh and elegant. The clean spare lines of the slipcovered furniture made me think that I had walked into a room setting from 'Architectural Digest.' The feather beds were a treat and the bathroom was immaculate and Kohlar modern. Our hosts, Joan and Chris were warm and very helpful --- guiding us and making reservations at...

3 couples took over the entire place. Joan and Chris were very accommodating, friendly - joining us for wine on great patio. Amazing high end rooms, with down duvets and beautiful, comfortable sitting areas. Excellent breakfast! We will be back next year for our annual cycling trip. Great place to base a road bike trip, farms, wineries all within a...

If all B&Bs were like Ambraden Pond, we'd never stay anywhere else. Joan and Chris have created a beautiful B&B in a beautiful part of the world. The rooms are spacious and luxuriously appointed. Joan's taste is impeccable; every time I turned a corner, I saw another piece of furnishing or accessory that I loved. Breakfasts were fantastic and while...
