Traveling to Guedeloupe for 3 weeks, Hotel Le M in Marie-Galante is an excellent getaway for visiting this little island.
Awsome rooms with a killer view, private parking for your car and a very good beakfast. Also the owner is very helpful in providing tips/pointers on where to go.

This is a lovely little hotel: sweet, simple, and well run. Rooms were basic but comfortable. The pool area was very pretty, with nice views of the sea. Staff went out of their way to be helpful (thank you Melissa!) Location was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great base for exploring this special little island.

Our stay in Le M Hotel added to a wonderful vacation on beautiful Marie Galante: the couple running this small scale accommodation offer a warm welcome to their guests, in the overall friendly and relaxed atmosphere found on the island. Rooms are bright and although relatively simply furnished, decorated with taste. The same taste for detail is found throughout the hotel, with the lovely outdoor dining area overlooking palm trees and the sea as a fine example. Breakfast is served here in the mornings.
Well worth noting is the hotel's restaurant, a culinary experience of French classics with creole influences.
From the hotel it is a 5 minute drive to any of the two beaches near Capesterre, with Plage de la Feuillere a personal favourite: an absolutely gorgeous palm fringed beach.
Be aware that you will need a car for comfortably moving around on Marie Galante; most, if not all, accommodations are not within easy walking distance of the beach and restaurants are scattered around the main road. A car will also allow you to explore the rest of the island, hopping from one beach to another, doing groceries, visiting the various towns and not to forget, any of the three fine rum distilleries.

The setting is friendly and the welcome is great from a young woman who, although all alone, does her best to minimize problems: one light in three works in the room. There is no Internet reception in the rooms (you just need to invest once and for all in a repeater). The TV does not work (without internet or TV the evenings are long). Disappointed! Staff not always too cheerful... Restaurant non-existent!! Very simple breakfast and average quality products for the price (20€), in the "suite" room we had there was a lack of a lot of little things for a hotel service, handkerchiefs, cups, kettle but neither cups nor tea, let alone coffee maker and coffee! Average daily cleaning, just remade bed... In short, not good enough!!

Hotel in decay, the photos do not reflect reality.
Floor in poor condition, faulty air conditioning, rooms smell of mold.
This needs to be redone, but the prices are high compared to the services provided.
Fortunately, Marie Cannelle is there to alleviate our discontent.

Part of the hotel has been renovated, pleasant terrace, small pleasant swimming pool (clean when we came) We had a standard room, rather spacious, but non-existent decor, some lamps do not work, basic storage, nice shower but no products, except soap, good bedding and calm. Separate WC (a plus)
Breakfast OK, nothing more (industrial fruit juice) but we appreciated the table service.
Price a little high for the services, the magnificent view does not justify everything... We expect more for a boutique hotel, the hotel plays on the fact that there is no real competition in this niche (we know pretty good island!)
A mini catering service would be welcome...Restaurants however very close and of quality, in particular: "la playa"
However, we thank Marie Cannelle for her professionalism (she is present from A to Z in the hotel) and her kindness.

We stayed one night in this hotel. The results are very mixed. The pool was dirty, the sea view was OK, the room basic with an outdated front door and the bare minimum. A kettle of course but no tea or coffee…

"There was free wifi which we used downstairs on the covered terrace where breakfast was served. I don't know whether there was wifi access in the room. I think all the redecorated rooms are similar (but check with Laetitia or Didier). Our room was very nice with air conditioning. The only annoyance was the mosquitoes at night. We should have turned the air conditioning down to 18C before leaving to go out for dinner to kill them off, and then turned off the air conditioning or increased the temperature a bit on our return."Read full review
