We had our works Christmas party here and had a great time. The food and the service were very very good, we had a full Christmas menu with five excellent courses. We were all stuffed by the end. Thank you Adrian Tracey and staff, merry Christmas to you all.

My husband and I stay here frequently when we visit Cornwall and know the owners well. We are always made to feel very welcome on arrival. We have used both the bed and breakfast and self catering and can safely say the facilities for both are very good. Having a drink in the bar is always great, the owner always...

We were looking for properly dog friendly accommodation in north Cornwall for a three day trip and found this property on a well known booking site. Upon arrival we found a large car park and were warmly greeted and shown to our en - suite room ( number 3 ), which although quite compact, was spotlessly clean and well equipped...

Off the Beaton track we came across this place. Being in Cornwall and with a name such as it is, it'll be rude not to go in. A very warm welcome from the landlord . Bar food reasonable price and plenty of it. Decor is a bit stuck in the 80's but interesting people / local to talk to. And...

We have stayed here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The location is very convenient for north Cornwall and there are off road walks towards the coast. There is a choice of standard and superior rooms, both of which are well appointed with good en-suite facilities. There are also self catering apartments which are also very good....

This is our second stay at the Poldark Inn, the standard double room was newly decorated and clean, large bathroom with good supply of toiletries and thick towels. The communal areas are quite dated and could do with a re-dec. The breakfast was first class, best poached egg I have ever had. The staff are very helpful and friendly. As...

Stayed here when visiting Cornwall for the weekend. It's clean but very dated and could do with some TLC, rooms harp back to the 1980's , artex ceilings, coloured bedlinen and miniscule towels. We did sleep ok as bed was comfortable, no hooks any where to hang towels etc in bathroom and no heating in bathroom either! Breakfast next moring...

A Great family run hotel/inn and some 4 star hotels I have stayed at should have lessons from the Poldark Inn in customer care. Food was always hot and good portions, very quick to be served and nothing was an effort for the staff. Perhaps a couple of specials to add to the menu would be a good idea?

We visited The Poldark Inn on our final day of a great family holiday. The pub was perfect, with great wholesome food at a fair price, and the staff were very accommodating given we brought 2 terrorist children with us. Good choice of Beer, friendly local feel, would definitely recommend!
