John & Helen give the most warm welcome at this delightful guest house 20 minutes or so from the Giant's Causeway and gorgeous coast. Most comfortable bedroom and enormous bathroom across the hall (bathrobe & slippers provided). Cream tea on arrival and a beautiful breakfast with fresh home-made breads, fruits, porridge and cooked options - all beautifully presented and more... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the self-catering cottage on the property of the Country Garden House B & B near Ballymoney, No. Ireland. Our hosts were very helpful although some of the directions about heat, hot water, running the washing machine, TV, etc. were not very clear to us (USA visitors)! It took a couple of visits from our... More

We stayed with Helen and John for three nights and couldn't fault a thing. The house and room were absoluely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were wonderful, with a great selection of juices, cereals and breads - the 'Ulster Fry' (although it wasn't fried) was fantastic. Ideal, central location to all the major tourist attractions and excellent restaurant selection... More

I would highly recommend Country Garden House to anyone, its furnishings are beautiful and tasteful. The food is excellent with a delicious breakfast and also tea & pastries on arrival. It has really attractive gardens which ate a pleasure to explore. I found here better than the average.

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in the garden lodge of John and Helen. We experienced a wonderful welcome at the end of our journey. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean, bright and airy with wonderful aspects from all windows. We were welcomed with homemade scones and fresh milk to make a refreshing cup of tea. The... More

It was our first stay in Ireland and we were heartly welcomed by Helen and John, who send us even a description on e-mail beforehand for how to find their so lovely house. “Our bright and quiet room overlooked the spacious front lawn. It had a lovely ensuite well provided for with toiletries and thoughtful touches like make-up wipes were indicative of the care taken to look after guests.”

“The Jasmine bathroom is not en-suite but is just across the hall from the bedroom, is huge, very clean and has a bath, twin shower, toilet and bidet.”

“I believe all rooms here are beautiful, comfortable, and relatively quiet. Before booking, it might be good to inquire about the beds. Views overlook green, manicured lawns and well appointed gardens or landscaping. Wooden floors on the second floor have the potential to be noisy, but only if the guests are not mindful of others. The Jasmine Room has a separate bathroom, but it's huge and worth the walk across the hallway (in provided robes) to get there. The mattress in the Jasmine was the only minuscule drawback of the entire stay.”
