Like, hate. Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate. So this isn't so much a review of the hostel as of the city. I have never seen a city with so much graffiti, somewhere so dilapidated, dirty, full of beggars. Just stay in Sorrento. I know this place technically isn't in Naples but it's still on a...

I did not feel safe in this town, as a solo female traveller. The hostel insists it is a safe area. The hostel itself is very chilled, friendly crowd, clean facilities. The location to the attractions is good, just a 10 min walk to the train. There is a beach, but a fair bit of rubbish in the water.

With 3 of my friends we stayed here in August 2015. It was super hot and there was a cooler fan which was stopping every hour and making you wake up and start it again. Only problem we had was we arrived there with our car and wanted to park there for 3-4 hours for 1 night. Cos we needed...

The hostel is really nice, we had a private room that was quite comfy and with air conditioner that for the warm weather we found it was just amazing but one day after a partying night we were sleeping till late and the cleaning lady just open the door so rude that she wake us up and in a kind...

I'm not a big "good atmosphere" hostel person - I prefer small and quiet to big hostels with nightlife and lots of people, but actually this was a really great place to stay. It was clean and bright and the decor was really cool and the beds were clean and comfy. Also you could walk to Herculaneum which was really...

Really cheap, friendly staff, big common area where you can easilly get to know people (they also sell cheap bottled beer!). Bedroms don't have any AC though (which is understandable with the low price of 15 EUR), which meant ~35 C at nightime since we visited in August, although they have a lot of small fans in each room which...

Having been in Naples city centre, I'm very glad I stayed at this hostel in Portici instead. It's a much better location for seeing Pompei and Vesuvius and getting to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, and it's much safer than Naples itself. The breakfast wasn't great for €3 - you can find cheaper and nicer down the road. Some nights...

If you need a budget hostel in Naples, this one is decent. Spacious rooms with secure lockers and allocated beds, big common room for wifi and good atmosphere for socialising, average kitchen but with a functioning fridge/freezer. Downsides included lack of toilet seats in the bathrooms, showers clogged, kitchen was dirty, rooms were stinking hot and I booked a 5...

First of all, this hostel is in Portici and not Naples itself, but don't let that put you off. It's a great area and there are good and cheap transport links if you want to spend time in Naples itself. It is also really close to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Sorrento which are great excursions and really easy to get too....

As a group of 18 year old girls we were always nervous of being in hostels, but this place was amazing. Great location, 5 mins from train station and a small beach, with really friendly locals and staff happy to help with train times, maps, taxis and even some insence to keep away mosquitos! The only issues was that the...
