It's like a museum but with people actually living there A tiny down side is a little wore out toilet and bath, but totally clean I...

We stayed in an apartment here for two weeks and used it as a base to explore the area (you can take in parts of Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany!!). Pucci is the best host I have ever met. She has a warm and generous welcome for her guests. We are in the castle restaurant three times and each time the...

Love love love this place! It's not pretentious, but full of character. We've been twice now, once with another couple and once for a birthday celebration. Pucci was a fantastic host, full of recommendations and just charming all round. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for the authentic Italy, with authentic living in an old castle with authentic Italian food and with excellent service from the family Rossini, who has owned the castle through many generations, you most certainly should pay a visit to Castello di Proceno and stay there to enjoy the atmosphere and history. What a great place hosted...

The Castello has lovely spacious rooms with all the extras we appreciate - a kettle and cups, great shower, good wifi, a working fireplace! spacious wardrobes, art and history on the walls, quiet, views, great comfy bed and a sense of timeless grandeur. Our hostess was incredibly welcoming and our one night stay was absolutely delightful. I also cannot recommend...

This is a legit experience. This family-owned and run castle has been in their family since the 17th century. The castle is right in the city which is itself tiny and charming with not a tourist in sight (although there's not a whole lot to do, but relax). The rooms and appointments are rustic. Rooms are large with working fireplace....

The hotel is located in a beautiful location. Pucci and her husband was very friendly and considerate. We stayed in the room with the balcony and view. Such a fantastic view in the mornings as the sun rose. Absolutely amazing sunrises. The room was spacious and charming. We had a fireplace in our room, which came in quite useful as...

Speaking as a travel professional of many years, Castello di Proceno is my ace in the hole to achieve what my guests are looking for, which is cultural immersion. The Castello surrounds them with Italian history and culture. I love this place, which is why I keep returning. Scenic to the max, situated off the beaten track, and yet half-day...

We stayed for a week in the Castello di Proceno on a most wonderful Italian holiday, preceded by Venice and followed by the Costa Amalfi. Proceno's location so far south of Tuscany's 'highlights' could have been a drawback. In fact we spent two full days travelling north to see the big sights but the rest of the holiday was spent...

“These rooms are very big to two bedroom, two bathroom apartments. Room to un-pack and settle down, grocery shop and cook up some meals. Full kitchens with all utensils. My favorite is Il Chiostrino, I book it every time and have actually had a dinner party with invited guests in this apartment. It has become a home away from home, and my dream place.”
