I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! We stayed in the Collinella. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was modern and clean. When we arrived the heat was cranked up and the lights on, which were very welcoming. The view from the window was beautiful. Cecilia is an extremely nice woman and a wonderful host. She wasn't home...

Had a lovely visit at Procena Castle -- "Pucci" and her husband were kind and helpful and most gracious. I don't know how they run the property, the restaurants, the enoteca, etc. They've got boundless energy. The room was charming with a lovely fireplace I used every night. I was invited to join another couple who'd done a cooking class...

Just had our 4th stay at this charming castle and decided it was time to write a review. The owners make us feel so welcome that we will always try to stay here whenever we visit Italy. This time, my husband and I enrolled in a cooking class. We spent a delightful afternoon with owner Cecilia and Chef Lucia in...

Please don't go to Proceno and don't tell your friends ! We don't want it spoiled one single bit. The last place we want to stay in, is a tourist trap ! This is our forth or fifth stay with signora Pucci, I've lost count. We have stayed in the hunting lodge once ( Giullione is away from the castle...

My husband and I spend an eventful week-long honeymoon touring the region, calling Castello di Proceno our home base the whole time. Although Murphy's Law was in full effect (I'd developed a horrible sinus infection by the time we'd arrived, and my husband broke his wrist during our visit) Pucci and her family pulled out all the stops to ensure...

We spent a week in Castello di Proceno last summer, and left being less then impressed. For starters, my family and I have spent the last five summers in different locations in the same area of Italy, but never have we been so disappointed. First of all, the apartments do not resemble the description on the website. The furnishing is...

We spent a long week-end at the Castello Proceno which was like a dream. The location is exceptional and the rooms very cosy with the complete equipement for a relaxing break. The landlord and lady are just as exceptional as the Castel itself: beside been excellent hosts, they are also wonderful persons to talk, chat or laugh together. They know...

We have just returned from our month away from home and already answer when asked about our hi - lites, that Castello di Procena would be the outstanding one. It ticked all the boxes of our wants while travelling. I think the special one was, we were probably 2 of only 10 visitors in the town, population of 300. It...

The welcome, the kindness and help was outstanding. The apartment was comfortable, with beautiful additions in the way of antiques. The restaurant - well, we ate there nearly every night, it did not seem worth going elsewhere. Thank you Pucci for a lovely stay.

The Castello is a fantastic place to get away from it all. It has a peace and tranquility that is so difficult to find. The host, Cecilia, does everything possible to make one's stay memorable. She can advise on travel, history, cultural sights etc. Attached to the Castello is a restaurant where Cecilia serves up beautiful local produce, taking time...

“These rooms are very big to two bedroom, two bathroom apartments. Room to un-pack and settle down, grocery shop and cook up some meals. Full kitchens with all utensils. My favorite is Il Chiostrino, I book it every time and have actually had a dinner party with invited guests in this apartment. It has become a home away from home, and my dream place.”
