Highly recommended. Villa Beach is a quiet, relaxing place. Our ground floor one bedroom accommodation was extremely clean with great beach access and we enjoyed the small, but intimate on-site restaurant. Colin and his staff were extremely amiable hosts and we appreciated the time Colin spent providing us with recommendations for our stay. It is a convenient location for exploring the north part of the island. It is better to have a car or use the Villa Beach taxis as the local amenities (grocery stores etc) are not easily accessible due to a lack of sidewalks.

We had a great time at Villa Beach! Very cozy and "home-like" suites. The beach outside is so nice, we spent all day just bobbing up and dopwn in the waves. There are no reefs or rocks in the water, just soft sand. The staff, manager and taxi drivers were all very nice, friendly and chatty and all willing to lend a hand or go the extra mile. The location is very convenient to all the attractions north, like Rodney Bay, Gros Islet (the Friday Party) and golf. Castries is 5 minutes away. Rooms come with a kitchen and the grocery store is 5 mins away so we stocked up and had snacks food and drinks available when not going out for lunch or dinner. Overall, had a great stay and would recommend highly. Be sure to ask Colin the manager about the history of Rat Island! Finally, the sunsets are amazing!!

Villa Beach Cottages is a wonderful boutique hotel! I choose a lot of my stays from the reviews they receive on Trip Advisor. Typically anything 4 or higher is going to be pretty nice. When I found this place, receiving almost a unanimous rating of 5 across the board, I knew I was on to something special. It did not disappoint! The staff here go out of their way to make sure your stay is special and that starts at the top. Colin will make sure you have all of the information you need to have a great stay on their beautiful island and will make it as easy as possible to do so. I really appreciated the fact they would not only arrange the taxi for transportation, but they would also let you put that taxi charge on your room tab. We really liked the driver they arranged on our first trip to Rodney Bay (Ernest) so we booked with him the rest of the week and charged it to our room. We liked the on site restaurant and also several spots in Rodney Bay. We really enjoyed the Soufriere Drive In Volcano & mud bath. I also got to experience a spot I've wanted to try for years and that was Dasheene Restaurant at Ladera. What a beautiful spot and excellent food. All week, my wife and I looked across the bay to the small island and told ourselves we were going to Kayak there and each day we didn't do it. On our last full day we finally paddled over and we were very glad we did. Villa Beach Cottages is right next door to Sandals Halcyon Beach and every day we walked the beach in front of Sandals and snickered to ourselves about the unbelievable value that Villa Beach Cottages is. Loved being able to access our Netflix account and binge watch some shows at night. Hearing the waves crashing on the shore was also very cathartic! Having the full kitchen was great for breakfast or sandwiches at lunch or keeping our Piton beer cold. Having breakfast every morning on the balcony, 20' from the ocean wasn't a bad start to each day either. If you're on the fence about staying here, I hoped this review pushed you over, I know you'll be happy you made the choice.

Spent an amazing week at Villa Beach Cottages. The rooms were spacious and we loved the beautiful ocean views and sunsets from our balcony. The on-site ocean front restaurant was a great alternative if you don’t want to cook in or drive. The pools and beach were just a few feet away from our villa. The comprehensive orientation to Villa Beach Cottages and St. Lucia, by owner Colin Hunte, provided lots of information on restaurants and places to see. We took the day long tour of the significant island sights with one of their drivers, Claudius. It was the highlight of our trip. It allowed us to see the many beautiful sights of St. Lucia along with an incredible lunch at Dasheene Restaurant overlooking the Pitons and Sugar Beach. The private tour is very reasonable and Claudius was extremely knowledgeable of the island and a very skilled driver on the challenging roads to Soufriere. What stands out the most about Villa Beach Cottages was the friendly, competent and professional staff. If you would like a relaxing vacation at a beautiful boutique hotel with fantastic ocean views and amazing staff, this is your place.

We spent a week at Villa Beach Cottages during our stay in St Lucia and we had a great time. The hotel is located directly in front of a massive beach, right next to the neighbouring Sandals resort - so it's very quiet and feels private. The rooms are spacious, in good condition, and have everything you need - including a kitchen with all the basic appliances and utensils if you want to cook, and a balcony/patio with sea view.
The hotel has a small restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's not fine dining, but the food is really good, with a bit of a "homey" feel to it. Just be warned that the restaurant is very small and sometimes it takes a very long time to get the food - especially during busy times in the evening. Best to order your food early as it may take over 1 hr to prepare.
Reception staff and the manager Mr Hunte were all extremely helpful in planning our trip, suggesting the best places to go for dinner and organizing tours. We did a day trip to Pigeon Island and another one to Soufriere where most of the main sights are (including the two Pitons).
There's a couple of supermarkets nearby, but be warned that there's no proper sidewalks on the road and can be very dangerous to walk there. You can book a quick taxi ride from reception to do a shopping trip.
If you're looking for a quiet beachfront place, but want to avoid the much more expensive resorts, Villa Beach Cottages is perfect for this.

We loved absolutely everything about this accommodation and it's staff. From "Colin" the manager/owner to the restaurant & house staff, were simply fantastic and couldn't do enough to make our stay wonderfully memorable. The staff are very friendly and professional. Colin was very kind and went out of his way to accommodate us for a second time when our return travel plans were disrupted. He has a great sense of humour and is extremely knowledgeable on many things, so it's definitely worth talking to him.
The location is fantastic, being only about 10 mins drive from Castries town centre and directly on the beach. The sea in front of the hotel is very safe for swimming and calm by day & night. The views & sunsets from the hotel are to die for. The hotel also has two small pools at either end of the accommodation for relaxing in. We couldn't believe this beautiful hotel was just a stone’s throw from Castries. It's right next door to Sandals but holds it's own in terms of charm, luxury and service, so don't worry when booking this accommodation instead of other well-known hotels.
The hotel's restaurant offers great local & International cuisine at the beach front bar/restaurant or via room-service, but the kitchen closes by 8:30pm, so be sure to place your orders before this time. Should you need to eat a little later or try somewhere different , speak to the reception staff who will happily recommend/book some fantastic local restaurants, just a short taxi ride away, (like Coal Pot).
This hotel considered us as family rather than guests, so we can't wait to return to see our extended family in Villa Beach Cottages. Thank you🙏🏼

Villa Beach Cottages is a family run resort with lots of interesting history and an incredible welcoming staff. We rented a car from their car rental company called Coconut Car Rental and they arranged for a pick up at the airport due to us renting the car. We were met by a friendly man named Austin who safely got us to the north of island before dark. The rooms are spacious and comfortable although you can hear the noises from the road that is close by. The noise in no way impacted our enjoyment of the property but every now and then the motorcycles can be heard. The beach is literally in front of the resort and this is a major plus. The property is clean and well maintained and plenty of beach chairs for all. We fell asleep to the sound of the crashing waves each night. Air conditioning was great and newly installed. The little restaurant on the property is great and the women who cook the food are amazing and so friendly. Colin Hunte is the owner and he spent time with us giving history of the island, resort and its special connection to Canada. He also gave us tips on what to see, how to see it and the staff were able to make reservations for us at the best restaurants on the island and also insured we got the best tables. The rooms are cleaned daily and the resort is close to a Massys grocery store for supplies. Groceries are expensive as everything is basically imported to the island. The property arranges taxis for guests and they will drop you off and pick you up at the various restaurants. Taxis are cheap so make sure you discuss price first. They also arranged a day long private tour of the south area of the island which was amazing. I would not drive to Soufriere from Rodney Bay for any amount of money. The villas are located right next door to Sandals so you get the same beach views for half the price.

Villa Beach Cottages is a gem and we would recommend this resort to anyone visiting the island. It is a friendly, boutique style resort that is charming and small, and just what we wanted. The most redeeming qualities - the beachfront location - the staff including Kenesa and office staff, to Margaret and the cleaning staff, and of course we have to mention Colin's tour guide expertise. Everything was easy at Villa Beach Cottages - getting advice and bookings from the team, to catching the island bus right outside the gates, catching island tours next door and having excellent drivers to get us around the island. We had excellent weather, but even when it rained momentarily, we could still sit out on the veranda and watch the water and the rainbows and the cruise ships sailing in and out. The kitchen's are outfitted for eating in, but if you do not want to cook, then eat on site; Pamela and team at Coconuts can make you breakfast and lunch. The island restaurant options are also great. All around a fantastic place to stay!

This place was exactly what we were looking for as our little getaway from the kids. We celebrated our 15-yr anniversary here and the staff went above & beyond to make us feel appreciated. We rented a car from Sixt at the airport so we'd have the flexibility. There are two Massy Stores, the island's supermarket, near Villa Beach Cottages that we visited for breakfast foods, snacks, and drinks. Having the full kitchen in the unit was great. The bed and shower were spacious & comfortable. The best feature was the proximity to the beautiful beach for perfect walks, wading, and lounging. The size of this property is ideal as the pool, parking lot, and common areas never felt crowded. There were some families with children, the restaurant food wasn't special, and there is definitely road noise since it's right by the busy main road, so do not expect this to be a luxury resort, but for the price to be right on a perfect beach, this place is a home run. Every staff member was very friendly plus they thankfully recommended we go on a private day-trip down to Soufriere with Bicette guiding us to a waterfall, botanical gardens, mineral bath, mud bath / sulfur springs at the volcano, easy hike to see the Pitons, and A+ lunch at Bamboo Restaurant. We were so glad we had Bicette take us instead of me try to navigate that driving ourselves. Driving those roads is tiring... Anyways, if you're not looking for luxury amenities, don't mind some road noise, and know having a unit right on the beach has very small negatives like humidity, a few bugs, sand/salt, and people, this is a great place!! We absolutely loved it!

Idyllic location on the beach. We stayed here only for 2nights as part of a Caribbean trip to Barbados. We’d always fancied flying across to St Lucia, as it’s a very short plane ride from Barbados. We booked a sea view Luxury King size suite. We flew with Intercaribbean airline, which was an all round great experience. Arriving in Castries Airport in 25 minutes. Villa Beach Cottages are around 5 minutes taxi transfer from the airport, which was perfect for us. We were greeted at the airport by a taxi organised by the hotel. On arrival we were greeted by Colin Hunte who is the General Manager. We were taken into his office and served a delicious ice cold Rum Punch.
We checked in then walked to our suite, which was number 4. I walked straight through the room to open the doors onto our little terrace. The view was breath taking. The sound of the sea was mesmerising. A beautiful hot sunny day too.
The site has a restaurant and a bar. Both of which we used. It’s very very pretty and immaculately kept.
The Hotel organised a taxi for us the day after our arrival, just for the two of us. The Driver was very knowledgable and Professional. We had him from 8.30 until 5.30. We pre booked a lunch on our route at a restaurant that over looked the Pitons. Exquisite. All in all, a great way to spend 2 nights in the middle of our main holiday.

Thank you for your enquiry. The weather is usually good all year round but the "rainy" season which usually starts in June and ends in October is sometimes characterized by an early morning downpour followed by a sunny day. Occasionally storms passing through the Caribbean may affect the island and cause a few cloudy and rainy days during that period. The driest months are from February to May and is our peak period so book early and we will be happy to host at the Villa Beach Cottages for your holiday in Saint Lucia.
We have four (4) Deluxe 2 bedroom villa suites which all have an ocean view and balcony and two (2) Standard 2 bedroom villa suites which have a courtyard view and balcony. Please contact us directly at (758) 4502884 or via email for more information.
