From the moment we woke up to the breathtaking view from our balcony we loved the place. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms through out the resort were all in working order. Lovely outdoor dining room with a view of the surrounding hills and beach below. Greatest swim-up bar

I will take a break for the time being. I do love this resort, the people and the general atmosphere. There are some must-haves that are missing like hot water for the shower all week. The water was cold not even lukewarm and that includes the sink. These roads to and from the

This was my third trip to Club Amigo. I love it there and plan to be a repeat visitor for years to come. The food is wounderful, the staff so friendly. I love returning and having them recognize me and remembering our names. Two complaints. We have stayed In The rooms twice

My understanding is there’s no extra customs charges but you now have to pay for a cab to transport your bike from the airport to Marea. I believe it’s about $80 So you need to find someone else with a bike to share the cab. They used to load them on the buses with the luggage but so many people were taking bikes they would run out of space.

There's a small reef near the hotel but it's hard to get there and there's not much to see. There's also a excurtion to Cayo Coco but it's not a good place for snorkling too. About the dive shop... don't go there if you want to dive. It's the worst dive shop I've seen in Cuba and the dive sites are very ordinary. There's a lot of better place than this in Cuba. A good place for snorkling and diving is Jibacoa near Mantanzas. You can see some pictures if you follow the link for my website in my profile page.

Hello. the VIP option is not worth the price, it cost us 110 $ CAN per person for a boat tour, an excurtion in Cayo Blanco with lobster dinner, a bottle of cheap rum and a bottle of foul wine. On site he would have less expensive. There is not much to do in this part of Cuba, the restaurants at Dany's in the village is very "ordinary" and we have not tried the other. By against the excision of jeep in the mountains is very special, if you have no back problems. We have dinner in a small farmer's house, it puts the values in the right place. It cost us 160 pesos for 2 adults and one child. Hoping that this information will help you a little. P.S. If you want to dive, good luck, the dive center is the worst I've seen in Cuba, and the apnea in Cayo Blanco is very ordinary.

Hi there - when I was there last April I had luke warm water for my shower before dinner - but after a day in the sun it felt great! Remember that the water is solar heated so time your showers accordingly. More hot water in the early afternoon. I didn't stay in a cabana so maybe someone who did can answer your question better. Have fun!
