My boyfriend and I have been at Le Bocage for a night. What an amazing place to stay. The ancestral house has something mysterious but so warm. We took the big room Le Grenier; lovely place, full of surprises, clean and cozy. We felt like we were in another time and space. The bed was really confortable, with nice sheets....

I really do not know how Francois does this. He is on his own and does a superb job on being an excellent host. Initially I felt the property was a tad run down BUT " No" this property has a unique shabby chiq charm to it. Breakfast and dinner were incredible. Beds comfortable and with the window open that...

After having had a dinner in Le Bocage's restaurant several months ago, we returned for 3 days to savor 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners at this gourmet outpost. We actually ate 2 dinners at the inn, and one at a very good restaurant in Sherbrooke owned by the chef and owner of Le Bocage, Francois Dubois, a lovely, kind, and...

Auberge le Bocage is simply my favorite restaurant! The regional cuisine is famous and delightfull for the eyes and the mouth. The decor of the antique house is unique and inviting, as the service too. You can also rent a room for the night and enjoy the peacefull country and the stars in the sky! So relaxing!!! The prices are...

We enjoyed a fabulous stay at Le Bocage. Our large room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable. The highlight, though, was dinner. Francois served us a 5 course meal that was a highlight of our trip. Superb. We will happily return.

This lovely property is in the countryside not far from Compton. Francois is the perfect host--ready to help in any way he can, but not overbearing. My great-grandmother was from Moe's River--the reason for my trip--and Francois graciously arranged for me to meet the resident genealogy experts who live down the road. Breakfast was so good it's beyond description. If...

No traffic, no TV, no radio, no phones, no newspaper, no blackberry. Just life. Plenty of silence, calm, history, delicious food, great hosts. Candlelight dinner, your wine, your spouse, your time, what else do you need? Memories of such a great stay. What are you waiting for?

Peaceful and relaxing B&B with large bedrooms and a beautiful terrace. Ours called l'équestre had a fireplace and a queen size bed with a great view on the swimming pool and gardens. Recommended for couples or 2 good friends as there are no television. For golfers there are many golf courses in the area and 1 at about 10 minutes...

A little corner of paradise, even in late windy wet October. The owner/chef, Francois Dubois is a perfect host, you feel he devotes his whole life and energy to the place. Our room was comfortable, bed a little hard, the unique design and decor well conceived. Of particular note are the diner menus (we ate there twice). Francois prides himself...

Hidden away in the Eastern Townships is a picturesque, quiet, warm and cozy Inn where you can go to relax and rediscover your passion for each other and enjoy a haute cuisine which can be compared to many 5 star restaurants (and you can bring your own wine). The owner/host/chef will make you feel like you've known him forever and...

“Pink's room and blue's room are the most sunny. Le Grenier is the biggest room and the most private.”

“The Equestrian room is large and comfortable. Smaller rooms could be fine if you are only staying overnight, or don't plan to be in the room much.”
