My family were planning on initially staying here for three nights but loved it so much that stayed for one more! The staff are great and friendly and the location was also perfect- situated right next to a beach and a spa for those interested ! Surfing , although available on Mirissa (closest) beach isn't the best due to the...

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of the honey moon. We couldn't of been happier with our choice. The main advantage is the location which literally right on the beach. Marissa beach was our favourite in sri lanka (we visited about 4 others). The food was really good especially the curries. The staff were very friendly. Only downside...

Stayed for 6 nights. Good location on the beach. Staff friendly. Food great. Sunday nights there's a party until early hours along the beach so don't book a whale watching trip for early next morning! Very peaceful normally. Book raja and the whales trip - respectful and conservation minded.

This hotel is in an ideal location. It is a very short stroll to the main beach. If swimming out the front of the hotel, beware of the hidden rocks. The hotel has lovely grounds with ample lounge chairs to sit, relax and enjoy the ocean. The breakfast was delicious. It's a good choice of hotel to stay for a...

We unfortunately didn't stay here but ate three times during our stay in Mirissa (once with a couple of friends we'd met up with). Food absolutely superb, staff attentive (even showing us a turtle was laying its eggs just on the beach below - magic!). Hotel rooms looked great - so we hope to be back in the future! Highly...

Mirissa is our preferred spot from Sri Lankan South coast, and Palm Villa is probably the best place to stay there. Located literally on the beach, it offers several rooms around a very charming garden. It's totally family friendly and you may cross young parents with toddlers. The kitchen proposes simple but delicious local dishes. The breakfast below the palm...

The rooms are basic, but you can have them cleaned every day. There is hot water and so on. The breakfast is delicious. At dinner you can sit right under the stars beside the ocean and have your curry. Most of the buildings of Palm Villa survived the tsunami, so there is an old-time feeling round the place. What impressed...
