My husband and I had visited Hotel Barolo in the past, so we knew to ask for a room in the "old" section as there is also a new separate hotel on the property. We had asked for a room with a view of the Barolo castle. Our room had the beautiful view we asked for, was clean and welcoming.... More

I was in the new building. The AC worked very well. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast (included in my room price) was excellent. The coffee superb. The hotel is called "Hotel Barolo" but some people just refer to it as "Brezza" because it is co-located with the Brezza Restaurant.

Room was large and clean, staff very helpful, minutes walk to center of Barolo. Restaurant was closed the night we were there so we ate elsewhere. Breakfast was typically light though they did prepare eggs at our request. Wifi was excellent.

Barolo village is a very small location with not more than 500 inhabitants. I was attending a group for studying wine cellars. The breakfast is OK (not the best one). Perfect located for such activit!

Wonderful location - room 216 has double aspect views of the undulating hills of barolo, the castle of Barolo & on the other side the swimming pool. Good clean room. Comfy bed.. Breakfast ok.. We stayed there with the three Classic Car rallies, which we organized for 2015 (see: via-flaminia.com). The staff is very friendly. Always good to be in a family hotel. We did get a welcome drink in de winery. The food in the restaurant is exquisite. The rooms are good, especially in the new part of the hotel. Only drawback which... More

Super friendly people, rooms are extremely clean, decoration not my taste and somewhat outdated. Location is unique: in the heart of the Barolo town, with a nice well maintained swimmingpool (including bar with snacks), and off course, the Brezza winery. (the hotel is owned by the winery, as well as the restaurant). The views are as they usually are in... More

I could not have been happier with my recent stay at Hotel Barolo. The room was enormous and comfortable, with a little sitting area and a reasonably-sized bathroom. The air conditioning worked great, which was important in this 95°F weather. There was ample parking. The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful, from great table service at the attached restaurant... More

By and large a pretty nice spot, beautifully located to enjoy the villages of the Langhe. More than adequate breakfasts and dinner with pleasant, efficient staff. I must admit I had a problem with the TV they couldn't solve, but I only wanted to use the TV occasionally for news so,no big deal. Rooms were pleasant, clean, well cared for.

“Wi-fi was sporadic...sometimes fine, sometimes difficult to engage....not a show stopper or spoiler though...we were assigned a lower level room in the newer portion with VERY limited view, but we spent very little time in the room as we traveled the Langhe each day for,the entire day, so It was of little consequence, but if you are going to spend time in your room try for an upper level....”
