It’s not often that your expectations are surpassed but this place did it for us. My wife and I and our 3 year old daughter were made to feel incredibly welcome and were treated to a perfect holiday. The whole team were accommodating (you know how you have to juggle things with small children!) and were always available and couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay special. The restaurant was also amazing - hardly anything on our plates came from more than 20 metres away from their own garden and farm (including the olive oil and wine) or the farm next door. Food was created with attention and care and didn’t seem to ever stop coming. Owned by the Italian motor racing aristocracy, apart from the fabulous Ferrari room where breakfast (also fabulous!) is served, this aspect is pretty understated. The owners are charming, considerate, are clearly committed to sustainability and have a great ethos. I haven’t even mentioned our fabulous Trullo yet! This place is simply beautiful and is well worth a visit.

We stayed at the Camarda based on the positive tripadvisor reviews and weren’t disappointed. The masseria is a beautiful characterful house set in the Puglian countryside. There was too much to like to write it all down here. The big highlights were the warm welcome from the owners and the staff who made every effort to look after us, the lovely garden and pool, the fabulous signposted walk through the property and the well behaved super-friendly dogs who were like an extended part of the team (if you wanted them to be). Also a mention for Sara who produced one of the best breakfasts we‘ve ever eaten with excellent homemade products and to Aksana who really took care of us and kept the spritzes flowing. We were also impressed that the owner, Cesare took the trouble to greet us every morning and evening and we very much enjoyed his stories and the memorabilia from his past career in Formula 1. His son Alex who manages the property was also charming and speaks very good english. We had a room in the main building and it was spacious with a lovely vaulted stone ceiling and the bathroom was. well appointed. View from the bathroom was glorious and photo is attached. A minor gripe was the fridge in the room was a bit noisy but we slept well all the same. If you want to enjoy all the good things that the Italian countryside can bring, we’d definitely recommend the Camarda.

Truly relaxing, comfortable and beautiful. Home grown organic food including their own vegetables and fruit and wine and olives. I would go back in a heart beat. We tried to find similar places but none were as quiet, caring and thoughtful. Alex and his family are committed to giving you the best experience possible and nothing , nothing , nothing is too much trouble. We will be back as this is the standard all should aspire too.

This was a chance booking and it turned out to be great. Cesare, Alex and his family are great, warm and friendly. The hospitality is second to none. The accommodations were great for us with a 5 year old. The pool is wonderful and safe. Fresh eggs at breakfast from their own hens and breakfast room clearly displays Cesare's motorsports past. All in all we had a wonderful time at the Camarda. We have booked in again this year.
