REMM Roppongi, which is a rebranding of an existing hotel, is conveniently located in the Roppongi district of Tokyo. Just a short walk from the Hibiya Metro Station, the hotel is only a minute walk from the famous Roppongi crossing and across from the Tokyo Midtown shopping area.

My rating is comparing this property to others of its type. In this case, local budget-type hotels. Here, REMM excels. While the room size is similar to others in the category (e.g. very small), the layout is good here, and features a large window which makes the room very bright. The room is very clean and has all the accessories you would expect, as well as some you don't, like a massage chair.

The bathroom, while again small, offers plenty of water pressure and toiletries as needed.

Being in Roppongi, you have no shortage of places to eat and drink although I believe there is a small coffee shop on the street level of the hotel. (This is a hotel to sleep at...nothing else)

I am in Tokyo often, and often in the Roppongi area. If you are seeking a value priced hotel, I eagerly would recommend REMM Roppongi.

This is one of so-called business hotels in Tokyo, but is a very clean hotel with best location in Roppongi: in front of Midtown Roppongi and only a few min. walk from Roppongi Station. There are many restaurants, bars, and shops close to this hotel, yet most rooms are at quiet high floors. It's very convenient if you have a business meeting at this area or if you visit a restaurant or a bar near this hotel. I will frequently use this hotel.

Very conveniently located and the rooms are so well-planned...everythiign is where you would anticipate things to be located. The location is awesome with a subway station across the street and very closet to Tokyo Midtown shopping area. I highly recommend the hotel and I definitely plan to stay there again he next time in am in Roppongi!

Lovely hotel and well centred in Roponngi. Clean, tidy with great amenities. Hotel staff were very friendly and held our bags while we explored due to arriving in the morning. The rooms are small (compared to those the UK) but there is enough space to sleep and get dressed etc. Our room had a great shower. Located perfectly for getting around the city with several different subway entrances available within a few minutes walk. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the food here.

Beds are firm, pillows too (This seems to be the general consensus in Japan though)

I made a reservation at the hotel before its grand opening on Mar 30, 2017. I wrote a couple of times to ask about transport and stay, response was slow and unhelpful. I also noted that if I was not writing in Japanese, the hotel staff made no attempt even to respond; hence I have to use google translate to turn the text into Japanese in order to get a reply. Yet with a reply, the staff sounded extremely unhelpful with no attempt to help a foreign visitor.
I doubt whether the hotel is even ready to open with such minimal service.

We booked 2 rooms here for 10D/9N. When I am writing this review, we are still staying here….This morning I approached the front desk. As we wanted to book a local restaurant for dinner. We checked those restaurants websites or related booking websites. We tried to book via website first but some would require phone booking. It seems quite full over the weekend and also hard to book one even for Monday’s dinner. That’s why I approached the front desk see if they can help me to call those Restuarants directly to check the availability instead and they speak Japanese. One of the female staff helped and called my first choice on my restaurant list. She called and spoke to the restaurant, it sounds like have a chance to make a booking. Then I saw her, she hold the line and she approached her make supervisor with glasses and checked something then she told me the restaurant would require local Japanese contact number not overseas contact number. And this hotel couldn’t help to make booking by using their hotel’s contact number to help
hotel guest to make booking?!!!!! This is the first time to receive such unreasonable excuse that this hotel couldn’t help to make restaurant booking for their hotel guests. Then I called my Japanese’s friend see if we can use his Japanese’s mobile number as I really don’t want to bother local friend here for restaurant booking. I tried to pass my mobile for the hotel staff to speak with my Japanese friend but she refused and asked me to book by ourselves.
So this hotel will not help hotel guest to make local restaurant bookings!!!!!
Terrible!!!
When you travel overseas and pay to stay. And this is a common service when you travel from overseas or foreign and couldn’t speak their local language for local restaurant bookings.

However this hotel refused to help at the end. Lucy, my local fried here helped me to make restaurant bookings instead….but NOT THIS TERRIBLE HOTEL and they couldn’t help but we paid for 9 nights accommodations and received ZERO help!!!

Please consider to stay somewhere else if you need to plan/seek for Restuarant booking helps and if you do not have any local Japan contact number or local friend here.

REMM Roppongi Managment, I would suggest you to put remark on your website that this hotel will not provide service to hotel guests for local restaurant bookings!!!!

I will only give credits to the house keeping staff here. They did good job.

Very unpleasant home of Mr Asuka. In addition they asked me to pay an extra yen 7000 for the type of room I booked. They offered me a "semi double room" when I booked a double room. This kind of practice is inadmissible.

I stayed here because of my friend's recommend. Hotel is located in good location. Just open this year. It's very convenient to go to places by subway. However, with big suitcases I have, I highly don't recommend to choose this place. The exit that close to hotel doesn't have elevator or escalator. And it is impossible for me to lift all my belonging to stair alone. I end up walking detour for very long distance with my suitcases to check in and to leave this hotel. This feels like work, heavy one. For traveler without suitcase, this place is nice. Staff especially Miki san is very enthusiastic. About the massage chair in room, in my opinion, it's too short for me, I am 174cm tall. It's not so comfortable as other massaging chair I have ever used.

We were here 2 nights and were not happy with this hotel.
The bed we had was in such poor condition; springs were bent and I felt like I was going to roll out in the night and had to stuff the bed under the covers to fill the sag in the mattress.
The pillows were almost dead and we tried to get new ones because the hotel said they have an assortment of special pillows BUT when we asked there was not one extra pillow available in the entire hotel NOT ONE!!! We stuffed our pillowcases with our laundry. (See pic of empty pillow shelf).
Today there was a knock on the door at 7am for a wake up we did not request; someone will be late today.
Checkin was painful and staff not friendly.
One of the “features” in the hotel is a massage chair BUT it is a baby chair (See pic)..
This was one of three hotels we used for this trip and we do not like this hotel. Very disappointing and we would not recommend this hotel. The location is great that’s all.

Speaking from the perspective of a single traveler to tokyo for 10 days, the hotel was great. Room was a bit smaller than expected, but hey, perfect for one person. The bathroom was stunning, especially the shower and aesthetics. Wifi was always on and fast. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor, which I used few times for buffet breakfast (1800 yuan), which had a decent quantity and very good quality of western and japanese products. Would definitely stay again!.

Hi. So sorry, I only just saw your question. I'm not sure of the width either but it was comfortable for two. In fact it is the best sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The room itself is very small but we stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay
