Neighbourhood
Shinagawa, Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.

… but that’s it. Very unimpressive. I stayed in the Annex in a single room on the 12th floor, which was unappealing. The desk and the wallpaper had scratches and lots of scuff marks making the room look shabby. The cushion the seat at the desk was so stained that I put a spare pi

hotel location is perfect and you can easily connect to rail way or shopping areas. Hotel restaurant is not enough but spa is perfect.
Resting is really quality because they have a special sleeping session.

It takes a lot to make me truly dislike a hotel. This hotel is simply a factory to get people in and out. Enormous, chaotic, disorganized, shabby and no concept of customer service.

I arrived after 24 hours of travel to spend one hour checking in. I can't explain why it took so

Stayed at the single room last month. Buffet breakfast was great. Room was small but comfortable. The only thing was one night I can hear the guests next room snoring. The walls must be very thin or that guests just way too tired.

Not cheap hotel. Great location. It's a shame the rest of the Hotel does not reflect the lobby area. The room was dirty with poor Air con, and a thread bare carpet. The sofa was
filthy and covered in stains
This was not a great stay. The staff are as always magnificent : such a

Hi, Anyone who knows that the hotel can help to receive a package? Before my arrival(I already have the reservation)? Or Email I can contact them directly? Thx
I don't know, but they're a major hotel so expect they would. I don't see an email on their website, but there is a telephone number listed. I loved the hotel. Very nice with great service.

We are arriving Dec 3, 3 pm. How do we arrange for the hotel transfer (listed amenity on the website). Does it cost anything? Thank you,
Which airport are you flying in to? If it’s Narita you can get the Narita Express train straight to Shinagawa Station (55 minutes), the hotel is straight over the street from the Takanawa exit You can get the Hotel Limo bus, but the train is easier. I lived in Shinagawa for 2.5 years and this is the easiest way. DO NOT GET A TAXI from Narita. If you fly into Haneda just jump into a taxi, it’s 5000 JPY and much easier.

I see that hotel transfer is an amenity listed on the website. How do we reserve the hotel transfer from the Narita International Airport?
Hi, anyone who stayed at this hotel before (any of the 4 towers) ever had any issues with the A/C?
We had issues. We could not adjust the temperature. Even though there is a thermostat it is centrally controlled. If you want to control the temperature then you are better to stay next door at the Shinagawa Goos.

We’re planning to catch the train from Tokyo to Osaka and don’t want to carry our luggage around. Does Shinagawa Prince Hotel have a contracted luggage delivery company that will send our luggage from the hotel to another hotel in Osaka?
Have you considered calling the hotel? They speak English.

"If possible, go for other towers to get better quality rooms, though these are likely to be more pricey."
