Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

The rooms are compact but our family room was fine for one nights accommodation near to the Shinjuku Station. Everything we needed was in the room and breakfast next door at Tully's was included. The hotel is on a busy street and through the night we could hear some noise but

The E-Hotel Shinjuku offers small and compact rooms, however if you are like my partner and I, and all you really do is shower and sleep in your hotel room when travelling then it was great. Both the bathroom and room itself is small. The thing that we struggled with the most

This is an update to my initial review This is our first time staying at this hotel, and after checking out I must say that though I have mixed feelings about this hotel, overall I would say that things worked out in the end. Initially we did have issues with the cleanliness

Situated right next to Higashi Shinjuku Station this hotel is great for sight seers. The rooms are tiny with barely anywhere to put your bag ... but if you are just sleeping there then that is fine. Service was great.

The location is great, cleanliness is good. But if you're tall or broad, please don't book this hotel. I'm only 5 feet and when I raise my arms in the bathroom, there's not much space between my finger tips and the ceiling. The space was so tight that I bumped myself several

Google hyperdia - this website is amazing. Just check times where, I'm pretty sure there will be a train at that time. We always walked from Shinjuku Station to the hotel but you can get the underground to Higashi- Shinjuku if memory serves. We relied on this website heavily when travelling around Japan. Japan is the best place I've ever been, I'm so jealous! From a quick check on Hyperdia, looks like the fare is about 600 to 700 yen.

Hi, will you guys keep luggage for earlier arrived customers?
I guessed they will as I asked them to keep my luggage after I checked out.

"At the back of the hotel - as noisy on the street side"
"Try to ask for a room away from the street - The local hospital has a lot of traffic and sirens all time of the day"
"ask for a high floor - just because of the siren noise from the streets below"
"Don't stay here."
"Ask for street view. View rooms bf book if you have kids."
