Staying at the only hotel which is located inside of Disneysea is an unforgettable experience.
We stayed at Tuscany Side Capitano Mickey Superior Room.
Too bad the Aquasphere view from our room windows was blocked by some walls.
Interiors of the lobby and rooms are magnificent and flawless.
However, the room toilet and shower are very standard and quite small
In-house guests of Mira Costa received Happy Entry for Disneyland and Disneysea, which grants you 15 minutes earlier entry to the parks before regular opening hours.
There is also an entrance directly from the hotel to Disneysea which opens 1 hour after the regular opening hour of the park.
The indoor pool is not free.
There is no gym (who would go to the gym anyway when you are staying at Disneysea hotel 😄)
Gotta use the time to enjoy every second and every moment for the Disney experience.
All of the staff are exceptionally friendly and very helpful.
Check-in time is at 3 pm but we were informed to check in at 4:30 pm due to high occupancy, so we went to Disneyland first.
Check-out time is at 12 pm and we could not get late check out because the hotel was fully booked.
Mira Costa probably is one of the most high occupancy hotels in the world.
It is very recommended to stay here if you want to maximize the experience of Tokyo Disney Resort 👍

Our family stayed in the hababal room for 3 nights during Easter holiday, and left with beautiful memories we will never forget.
It has been a long time dream to stay in MiraCosta, and the dream comes true as soon as we arrive. Everything is so unreal from the moment we checked in inside the lounge. Thank you Sugio-san and all other lounge staff.
It is a true escape from reality into the wonderland. Everything is so unreal: the bright and kind staff, the atmosphere in the lounge and hotel in general. and of course the room and its view..
There are a couple drawbacks like the Believe show was cancelled in our last night (although I thought the weather was ok) and there is limited food in the lounge. But compared to the overall experience, these drawbacks are unimportant.
Definitely the best hotel stay I have so far in my life. We also stayed at concierge rooms at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel afterwards, which was also extremely good. But MiraCosta was the one which left me with the very precious memory.

First of all, the hotel interior was extremely luxurious. I remember that my feeling was raised very much the moment I entered the hotel. The front desk staff was very attentive and made check-in a smooth process. After that, I enjoyed the park without going into my room, and returned to the hotel in the evening. My luggage had already been taken to my room. The room was cute, with a luxurious sofa and bed, and all the amenities had Disney characters on them. I did not eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but ordered a shortcake from room service in the night. The service was late at night, but the staff was pleasant and courteous. Every staff member greeted me with a smile and it was a very wonderful experience.

Pros - Location is within Disneysea. Nothing can beat that.
Cons -
1) Unreliable WiFi. Barely works in the 2 day I stay. The reality is that for a 5 stay hotel, the IT Hardware and Software infrastructure to support the WiFi is poor. For the price paid, this is a great minus.
2) This is a resort hotel. If you did not book any of the 3 restaurants beforehand for dinner even during weekend days, it is full. Even room service will be at least an hour wait. For the price paid, it is as if I have to suffer for the lack of dining space for a Disney hotel that is surprised on the crowd they have to cater. Pretty pathetic
3) Rooms are dated. Nothing interesting to be a Disney hotel room to be honest. It’s a 3 stay hotel standard.
4) I have 2 power charge for my devices. 1 was missing. Not sure how it can be missing. It was in the room when we left and it is missing after we came back. For now, I prefer to use the word missing for benefit of doubt and let the hotel to sort it out
All in all - The hotel is not worth the price. I think the hotel management is too complacent on the fact that the hotel is always fully booked within 30 seconds on a 3 months rolling basis. Good on you but I can assure you that the more people stay and get such an unmatched experienced on price and experience the more resentment there will be to Disney overall. Nonetheless, I must give credit to the staff. They tried their utmost to provide the level of service expected. It is the hotel hardware and infrastructure that is poorly managed and maintained.

Room is roomy, comfortable with beds that are great but ‘bedshare’ not quite possible so my other half couldn’t complain at all about me stealing the doona for 3 nights as I was sleeping in the next bed.
Lovely hotel with quirky Disney theme everywhere so we really enjoyed this part of the experience
BUT the food in one restaurant was atrocious!!!!
I believe it was called Oceano
We booked what we thought was a choice of a two set menus but ended up in a buffet that was one of the worst I had ever seen.
We booked so we could see the 830 pm fireworks and although we had a window table we had an eye level screen completely blocking our view.
This restaurant was devoid of atmosphere and the experience has completely ruined our last night in Japan after 4 weeks of amazing food. The constant clatter of cooking utensils from the kitchen added to our delightful experience .
I ended up not eating and my husband persevered as it was late and he needed sustenance.
Oh and I was really looking forward to a swim after a long day of lining up for rides and upon going to the pool found out that the ‘COST’ for in house guests was 3000 yen almost $AUD 30
Review getting 2 as until this evening we were really enjoying the hotel. Funny how a couple of things can ruin a stay.
I also think that the hotel doesn’t care about reviews but hope this helps just one person deciding to book

They can’t print an Important document for you. They just can’t. They cannot let you have breakfast because you did not make a reservation. They cannot change the time of a birthday cake delivery because they just can’t. They cannot help you at all. We found nails, a ball of hair and a bloody towel in our room. The website which showed two beds is not actually what you end up with and they make you feel like you’re the one who’s wrong. Next time, I’d rather stay in a nicer Tokyo hotel and spend an extra 1,8,000 yen taking the taxi back and forth than stay at any Disney hotels. Disney is an international brand but almost no one speaks English and it’s so difficult to get your message across. By the way, they eliminated their English telephone operator so you won’t be able to communicate with anyone. I called the hotel but they could not help with my requests because I had to call ticketing but then they don’t speak English. I asked my Tokyo hotel concierge to contact Disney on my behalf but they said that won’t work. I have no words but to give you an advice- improve your services and say - yes, we will try.

Worst hotel in terms of price and experience ratio.
Check in process was very slow. We arrived at 3 PM and there was literally a 40 mins waiting line just for check in. And after you finished checking in. You have to wait another 30 mins for one staff to bring your luggages and take you to your room. I mean I can bring my own luggage to my room. Is this a hotel or a public hospital? For $400++ a night I would rather stay at Hilton or InterContinental. Disney is not that magical after all. I wouldn't stay here again. If it's not for the kids - Avoid.

With 2 little grandchildren we couldn’t get into any of the 3 Restaraunt’s. After we complained we went to the buffet Restaraunt the food was cold uninviting, bad and expensive.
My husband and I got sick and they couldn’t arrange for a Dr to come to the hotel.
Would never stay here again and could not possibly recommend it to friends!

I stayed at balcony room piazza view this time. Previously, MiraCosta only had 1 room of this room type, but now they have 5 balcony room piazza view.
I also stayed previously at this room type which was good. It was close to harbour, just behind another balcony room harbour view. There was only 1 room so the view was certain.
Now there are more rooms under this room type, so the view of the room may vary a lot, totally depending on the room allocated to you.
If you got the room which is furthest from the harbour (see photos attached), it is unfortunate for you (even you pay the same money).
I don’t think it is good to watch harbor show from this room. I gave high score for MiraCosta previously mainly base on view. I also need to be honest this time.

Stayed for 3D2N with family.
Beautiful Room with a view of Disneysea. Spacious, clean, comfortable!
I love every details of the hotel, from the reception area to the bathroom shampoo containers. All have Disney touch!
My kids loved it! We also have easy access to Disneysea!
I love this place more than Disneyland Hotel but staying on both hotels are recommended to complete the experience!

It’s easy to get breakfast but not dinner. The restaurant is in demand because it has a view of the night time show. It’s always worth asking of course!
