My partner booked this Travelzoo deal as a treat for my (big) birthday and she assures me it was a very good deal. The room was fine although I thought it was a surprise Harry Potter experience because the door leading to our room was through what looked like a cupboard door under the stairs! The room was in the...

We booked a golf break through the hotel, which involved 30 of us. The stay was excellent at all levels of room standard, food and above all friendly and professional customer service. We could not have asked for anything better !! This place deserves 5 stars, not 3 stars !!

We went out last minute on a Saturday night to eat and liked the look of the menu at the Deddington Arms so had dinner and it was utterly lovely! The decor in the restaurant is contemporary and stylish and the food was way above the standard I would expect to get in a village pub. There was a really...

Thoroughly enjoyed our short 'Travelzoo' break at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was very good. Excellent cooked breakfasts with plenty of choice. The room was clean and comfortable but a bit dark (facing the courtyard at the back. However, for what we paid it was well...

Arrived for a short break. Room good. Restaurant lovely. Staff really friendly and professional. Food quality wonderful and well presented. Only criticism is that the restaurant was very warm, too warm to be comfortable. Breakfast delicious and really good choice. Service again excellent. Would definitely recommend. The town has several good restaurants and pubs so an ideal base

The good part of this review concerns the restaurant. The decor was up to date, clean, fresh and ambient. The food was excellent - good menu choice, fab presentation, tasty and fresh. Service was fine. We met some family members there for a meal and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was equally good - highly recommended. The not so...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and ate in their restaurant on both evenings. All of the staff, were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food was good at both breakfast and dinner time. The menu was varied and the food was very tasty and well presented. We visited Bletchley Park whilst we were there, which was an...

There were a number of issues for what was supposed to be a special Mother's Day weekend. The rooms were basic, the food not particularly special and missing components and finally the service was inflexible and surly. This hotel does not represent value for money. Could try a lot harder.

Stayed for two nights while visiting Oxford and Blenheim Palace. Hotel is excellent value for money and conveniently located to visit all the places we wanted to go to. Not only did the package include dinner on the first night and wine on the second, we were also given free entry tickets to Blenheim! The staff in the hotel were...

We stayed at the Deddington Arms through a Travelzoo deal and had a really lovely time. The package was for 2 nights with a meal allowance on the first night, breakfast each morning and tickets to a choice of attractions for us both. This package was our reason for visiting Oxfordshire and we weren't disappointed. The pub / hotel is...
