We took advantage of a special deal at the Deddington Arms Hotel: dinner, bed, breakfast and free tickets to Bletchley Park. We were very pleased we did and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break. Our room was warm and comfortable with a good shower - which is sometimes hard to find. Good choice at breakfast and our dinners delicious. The...

Stayed here on a two day break deal with tickets to Blenheim Palace. The hotel is very welcoming and ideally situated for visiting Blenheim Palace and other nearby attractions. We were able to park with ease and our room (27) was situated at the rear of the hotel and at one time had formed the lower part of a cottage...

Our first visit here, on a Travelzoo deal, and we found everything to our satisfaction. The room (17) was absolutely fine, with good wifi connection. Both the staff and the food were first class, and coupled with a "central" type position for days out, (Bletchley Park, Oxford, Blenheim) makes it very easy for us to recommend this hotel. One moan,...

This was our second visit to this hotel on a Travelzoo deal. We enjoyed our stay again this time although we agree with another reviewer that Room 1 needs a revamp as it's dark and dreary and not as nice as the room we had the first time BUT for the price we paid it was very good value -...

What a nice place to stay, staff are very friendly & quickly recognise frequent guests which is nice when you're away from home regularly. Rooms are in blocks around a courtyard, the rooms are clean & modern without being bland. The bar and restaurant being in the old building. Food is very good with a small but well cooked menu....

Just returned from our weekend break and wanted to say a big thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We were staying with friends of ours to allow us to visit surrounding places of interest. The bar is warm and welcoming with a large log fire, the restaurant served good food and the rooms were clean...

We found this to be ideal for a weekend break - despite appalling weather. Pretty and interesting village to explore and close to major conurbations and transport links. Hotel was warm, comfortable, clean and the food was great with friendly service and help when needed. Yup it was a tad noisy at times but it is a pub (albeit quite...

The Deddington Arms is a lovely place to visit for lunch! The bar food is excellent. The roaring log fire and comfortable seating make for a very relaxing lunch. The restaurant looks nice too but as I've only ever eaten in the cosy bar area I can't comment. The only slight downside is the coffee, although piping hot it is...
