This bed and breakfast has a great location and is clean, comfortable, and cozy. The hosts make it truly wonderful. Eileen and Bruce are very welcoming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. From the moment you arrive they feel more like old family friends than any hotel staff ever could. They provided us with so much excellent first-hand knowledge of activities, hikes and tips for the rest of our trip. Our room was clean and spacious with two beds. The cottage had a rustic charm while still being clean and in good condition. Eileen makes an excellent breakfast, too!

We spent three nights in Room One which had a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the views from our two windows were lovely. Eileen provided afternoon tea with pie and ice cream upon our arrival which was a nice touch. She allowed us to use their kitchen for two sandwich suppers during our stay, and we played cards in the evening, enjoying the view of their pond, the mountains beyond, and on one occasion watched a deer frolic with their cat on the front lawn! Breakfast was served at 0800, after which we were on our way exploring, and as we are seniors, we appreciated being able to return to the B&B in the late afternoon. Eileen warned us about the one afternoon they would not be home so we could plan accordingly. Bruce has an amazing collection of antique radios, phonographs, and jukeboxes in the basement, and kindly offered us a tour. Dungarvan offers a great location close to Waterton, a tranquil setting, and genial hosts.

Two related senior couples with a historical connection to Waterton spent 3 nights in the 2 B&B bedrooms in late July, 2017. We all enjoyed the experience, from roomy comfortable bedrooms, fantastic views of the immediate mountains to the west from the outdoor patio and indoor sitting area, great cooked breakfasts and interesting and accommodating hosts.A most rewarding experience.

Our stay with Eileen and Bruce proved to be the finest B&B stay we've ever experienced. They are gracious hosts who made us feel most welcome in their home. Our group of four planned to hike the Crypt Lake trail while at Dungarvan Creek, but we traveled the day before the trek and we were unable to purchase the necessary boat tickets. Eileen volunteered to drive into town to buy the tickets for us which made our hike possible. She also set out an early breakfast so that we could get to the boat dock on time. That hearty breakfast fortified us on the long climb. We all stayed upstairs in the main house where the accommodations are spacious, comfortable, and spotless. And the mountain view took our breath away! Bruce's remarkable tour of his collection of radios and jukeboxes completed our memorable visit. Don't miss the chance to stay in this special place!

We have been staying at Dungarvan Creek B&B for almost a decade now. It is an incredibly beautiful and quiet place to stay. The property is sizable and our girls love exploring it. It has a scenic pond with all kinds of ducks and birds. Deer are common and moose are also occasionally seen. Eileen and Bruce are the most wonderful hosts you will ever have and we've come to see them as good friends. They have 2 very affectionate cats. We mostly stay in the 2 bedroom cottage. It has a bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen and a dining / living room area. A huge window lets you see the close mountain front with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The cottage is always spotless and well supplied. If you like a truly quite place to sleep, this is it. You will hear nothing. No traffic. No construction. No people noise. We have also stayed in the cabin and it is also a great place to stay. Eileen's breakfasts are excellent. Food is great and plentiful. It is difficult to not eat too much before a hike. Waterton Park is 10 minutes away. Glacier Park in Montana is close when the border crossing is open in the summer. Shopping can be done in Pincher Creek or Cardston both a half an hour or so away. Lastly Bruce has the most amazing collection of radios and jute boxes which he is happy to give you a tour of. All are restored and functional and kept in a small museum in the main house.

Eileen and Bruce are wonderful hosts, always smiling and friendly and ever willing to go the extra mile for their guests. We even bring our horses and they are welcome too! We have been staying at Dungarvan Creek for over 5 years and have always had a wonderful experience. We prefer self catering as have young children. The cottage and cabin have everything one could need for a self catering holiday. We enjoy our annual trip here each year and highly recommend Dungarvan Creek. In our opinion it is the best place to stay, especially if you have children and horses!

Over the ten years that Dungarvan Creek has been open so many guests and their families return year after year because they enjoy the homely, relaxed atmosphere here and the peace and beauty of the natural countryside. I am pleased to be able to provide comfortable and affordable accommodation so that others may experience the SW Canadian Rockies close to Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.

We stayed for one night in the cottage at this B&B and we were very disappointed, despite the internet portraying it as a quaint & comfortable place to stay, the reality is sadly the opposite. It is very basic, unclean and well worn. Our host Eileen announced at our arrival that at 65 years old she no longer made the top bunk bed so it was left for us to do. Quite an appalling welcome. No breakfast option was offered but take our word for it the kitchen isn't one either. The bathroom was a disgrace, not only was it dirty but the shower barely functioned. The floors have not seen a mop in quite a while. The large front window despite boasting a great view was dirty and heavily scratched and the surrounding grounds were unkept and overgrown. We couldn't wait to leave the next morning. On a more positive note Eileen's husband Bruce has a unique and impressive collection of Radios' and Jukeboxes in the main house and kindly gave us an enjoyable tour. We can't recommend this B&B at all, it's geographical distance to the National Park is advantageous but it is really not worth it. Liz & Bob Bloos Red Deer AB.

The Cottage is a "country cottage" and is a "Vacation rental". It is not part of a hotel or resort. It has been modernised and is always kept clean and provided with all amenities-see the photos on my website. This report was obviously written in a fit of pique in defence of these guests breaking the shower by not following the written instructions. Please read the other reviews to get an accurate picture.

Stayed here 2 nights and had a really enjoyable stay. Eileen is a great host and her breakfasts are to die for. ( even the homemade marmalade she gave my husband to bring home!!!!) Bruce has an absolutely amazing collection of old radios and juke boxes downstairs which he will give you a tour of. Thanks Eileen for a superb stay form your last Bnb guests Hope the jigsaw got finished.

Absolutely loved staying at this home away from home bed and breakfast with superb hospitality, beautiful mountain view, and tranquility. Short drive to Waterton National Park. Very welcoming and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and want to return. As nature lovers certainly enjoyed our stay! Wonderful opportunity for couples and families. We spent three nights in the cabin at Dungarvan Creek B&B. Eileen was nothing but helpful and thoughtful during our stay. The cabin was a great fit for our family with the separate bedroom for our girls to stay in. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting after busy days exploring Waterton. We would love to come back next time we visit Waterton.
