We, a couple of ladies in a group of 30,had a most enjoyable stay at this hotel with a a very comfortable room and helpful staff. The food good with fresh fruit and an excellent choice of cooked breakfast including spinnage mushroom holandaise sauce.
We were there on a walking tour. Lots to do if you are a hiker. The coastal trail is nearby with many sights. Rooms are good, updated. Food and bar are great. We took a taxi in. I would not say drive a car in....More

We booked today, 4 Jan, for next September and are booked into a "premium" double room in the "Walkers' Cottage". Is this what is called in some descriptions the "Annex"? I can't find anything on the HF Website describing this location. I will appreciate your help.

The room we booked was a premium double, made into a twin room. The room number was 22 which was in the annex. I believe this may have been called the 'Walkers Cottage ' as the boot room is located in this building directly below room 22. It was a lovely room.
I am sure HF enquiries will be able to clarify if this is the room you have booked.
I would say that by the time you enjoy the walks and the socialising, not much time is spent in the room!!
