So, it’s been just over a month since we visited Kariega Game Reserve. I’ve just got around to writing this review. I posted this on Kariega Game Reserve page as well as Ukhozi, it seems Kariega get the web traffic, plus, I spelt Ukhozi wrong in my other review (bad!), so thought I'd put it right. I read many reviews...

Wow!! Everything you could wish for from a game park. Stunning scenery, fantastic wildlife, superb accommodation/meals and knowledgeable wardens. Ask the guide about the birdlife. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed two nights to finish of a Cape road trip. Wildlife - lots to see and our guide Chelee was extremely knowledgeable and had a great knack of sporting and finding game. Highlights were the lion pride, the rhino with its calf and for me the best, sitting in the land cruiser with a herd of 20-30 elephants walking right...

Really enjoyed the safari trips and our ranger for the 3 days was excellent. The room was a bit underwhelming for the amount we paid but it was very spacious and had a great view - in need of a spruce up and some TLC. I was disappointed there wasn't any wifi available in the room. Food was great, couldn't...

From the moment we arrived to the time we left this was an exceptional stay. Our accommodation was lovely and comfortable with a great view and plunge pool. It is a game reserve so isn't fancy, rather it is natural and stylish. The food was varied and tasty. The all inclusive drinks were standard (no limited choices) and we didn't...

We had two nights here and wished we had more. We did 4 gamedrives and saw all the animals we had hoped to see, elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, hippos etc. Our guide, Chelee was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. Our chalet was very clean apart from the plunge pool but we didn't need it as there was a lovely...

We spent three nights here and it was the highlight of our holiday! The trip was to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and the lovely bottle of bubbly was a great gesture! We had to work really hard to keep up with all the wonderful food and drink which was freely available at all times of the day! The game...

We have just returned from our 3 night stay at Ukhozi Lodge at the end of our trip to South Africa. It included 6 safari drives (2 each day) and our field guide was Juan. He was terrific and did his utmost to ensure we saw as many animals as was possible. We saw elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes and many,...

Spent there the last two nights of our honeymoon. The lodge consists of 10 luxury suites and is in a very good condition. The stay included two safari drives each day, all meals and drinks. The staff is very hospitable and always friendly. They try to fulfill every wish of the guest! Every safari drive has its own theme. So...

My husband booked this as a surprise anniversary present and it was simply a fantastic experience. The accommodation, food, staff and whole safari experience could not be faulted. Jaybe was our ranger and he was just brilliant-the cocktails and breakfast on the plains were amazing and the walking safari he took us on is an absolute must do for anyone...
