Within 45 minutes of our warm welcome from the hotel managers we were on our first game drive with Chris, our guide for the next 4 days. Chris did everything he could to find all the animals we wanted to see and more and showed us every part of the reserve's stunning scenery. A couple of the trips were started...

I would also suggest spending a day or two at the lodge and then another day at Settlers Drift. The staff are very good, I'm sure all the guides are exceptional but we...

Wes specically came to Kariega to photgraph animals in beautiful surroundings...and we did despite there being fences around the many zones as the reserve is near farms and private properties. The lodge is situated on the river and the rooms are large and comfortable with huge bathroom. Wifi is available in the public area and the staff are quite friendly...
