Impressive from Hello. Warm, inviting, high quality. Bar staff cool and full of good drink ideas. Friendly but professional. Spotless. Incredible building steeped in history, spent a lot of time admiring the ceilings.

Our friend's wedding was in the Lakeside Marquee in Thornton Manor. Despite the fact this property has a few wedding venues, they're spaced well apart so each venue is isolated. The marquee is really big, and the decking area overlooking the lake is beautiful too. It was a really warm, sunny day which added to the experience. There was plenty...

We stayed Saturday to Sunday for a wedding in their Waterside Pavilion. We were there from 1.00 pm on the Saturday until 9.00 am the following day. Starting with the positives, even despite the time of year and the somewhat inclement weather at times, the setting in the grounds was fabulous. A woodland trail from the manor house down to...

A wonderful venue and great people on staff. The house itself is so full of ornate wood carvings and paintings, great heritage colours and picturesque grounds. Nathan was especially great in collaborating with us on the wedding.

I run retreats at this delightful and unusual venue, better than a hotel because unexpected and well being approach offers an unusual setting for those new to the approach. Always impressed by the different offers for weddings that can also be used for business conferences

Attended an event at Thornton Manor and this is a charming hotel where you feel like a guest in someones wonderful preserved stately home as a private house party rather than a hotel. We stayed here for a family wedding. Stayed in the Gardeners Annexe. The hotel is badly sign posted. We arrived at 8pm in the evening and it was hard to find staff. We were finally shown to our room.
