Stayed in Seawall Campground 2 nights in late June 2016 with 30' rental RV. Pleasant pull-through site, quiet area, but no hookups or showers. Clean restrooms. Dump station. Satisfactory for a short stay, not so much for multiple days, and worse so if you're not towing a car.

I visited in July of 2016, and I would say that it was a nice place, but was lacking in some key areas. I've stayed at state forests or parks in Massachusetts or Connecticut, and they have things like soap for the bathrooms, and shower facilities. In the bathrooms which were in Loop D (the one where they have regular...

Definitely as rustic as it gets (in a motor home with running hot and cold water, generator, gas stove and microwave). Never saw so many stars in the night sky and actually made our first campfire. There is a bus to take you to Bar Harbor for shopping, eating and touring. The Acadia National Park Bus Tour was sensational with...

This is a great campground for non-glampers, at least Loop D. Everyone seemed to be of the same mindset of being there to enjoy nature. This loop was very quiet in the evening, with only the occasional dog barking. We stayed at site D39, which was much closer to D40 than we had anticipated, and kind of out in the...

We came to Acadia with kayaks to paddle the many different routes along the Atlantic coast and the hike some of the trails in the park. This campsite was the perfect starting point each morning. It was far enough away from the crowds at bar Harbour yet close enough that it was accessible if we felt like a short drive....

Excellent stay except that there were no dishwashing facilities - as best as i recall this was not mentioned in advance. Signs instructed us too wash dishes at site....kind of a bad idea when we are supposed to be preventing bears etc. No showers was also a bit ridiculous. playground was pretty small. This was my first stay in a...

This was easily one of the best camp sites I have had all summer. We camped on the B-Loop. We are a family of three, with a 10 (almost 11, she's protesting over my shoulder) year old daughter, and two well-ish behaved mutts. We try to pick sites just a bit out of the way so as not to disturb...

Very lovely campground. We stayed on Loop C with our pop up, and had plenty of space. The bathrooms were clean, but no soap and no showers. Be nice and bring a cheap $1 softsoap with you to share with your neighbors. There are showers down the road at Bass Harbor Campground for $3 unlimited. Just stop at the campground entrance...

Nicely sized and spaced campgrounds with very nice fireplaces. Clean bathrooms, but no shower facilities. Lots of water spigots however. Great access to wonderful star gazing in the park across the road. Short drives to bar harbor, Cadillac mountain, and Acadia! Awesome hikes ! Had deer walking right by us in the campground! Would go back without a second thought

Very quiet campground. Bathrooms were very clean. Free firewood was also a great bonus! Stayed in sites c7 and C8 in a tent and pop up camper. Made one big site out of the two. if your have a large party , be sure to see which campsites are not separated by trees as you can us two as one.

Thank Steve S
