I stayed here only one night but I wish I could've stayed longer. My room request was accommodated and I really loved my cabin. Nice porches for relaxing, all the amenities you'd expect from a regular hotel, and the location can't be beat. It is...More
Wow, what can I say but Cedar Pass Lodge ruined our memories of the Badlands.

I just loved this place. Having my own private rustic cabin right across the street from some of the most beautiful scenery in the world was a perfect start to my SD vacation. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the...More

Yes!!!!! We spent the most on this lodging for this trip and it was worth it! The cabins were beautiful inside and out. The sunrise and sunset views were amazing. Plus you can see the beauty of the park right from the porch.

I don't recall seeing grills. I did a quick look back at our pictures from that vacation and do not see any grills around the cabins. I would expect that the actual campground would have grills, though. The campgrounds are down the road from the cabins and we did not go into that area. You may want to call to check for sure. There is a lodge and restaurant within a short walk from the cabins. Hope you enjoy your stay at Cedar Pass as much as we did!

the cabins line both sides of a small access road behind the restaurant, just off the road. All have a nice little veranda or porch and all have great views of the rock formations. There is a grassy strip between these cabins where lots of rabbits accumulate in the mornings and evenings.
