Everything about the camp ground was great... location, cleanliness, quiet, parking, etc. My only dislike was the lack of privacy between camp sites. I like bushes and more trees. Not used to desert camping, its a little different when its all open like this camp ground. There are 3 loops next to orchards and trails and a store that sells...

The campground setting is absolutely fabulous. Surrounded by amazing red rock formations, the Scenic drive, Fremont River and the Historic Fruita Orchards this place is just wonderful. I like the fact that there are limited number of camping spots making this a relatively quiet and comfortable place to camp. I loved that fact that after a long hot day spent...

Camped here for 2 nights in June and loved it. There are 3 loops. We were on Loop B which had some sites that back up to an apple orchard where mule deer appeared each day. Site 33 and it had shade all day. Walk over to Gifford House for pie and ice cream. 2 hiking trails nearby and many...

great spot to spend a few days ... the campground is close to everything you want to see. Its nice to come back here after a day of hiking and enjoy the shade and grassy areas by the creek. It can be a hassle getting a spot as its very popular....get here early. we would come back.

We slept at fruita for 3 days. the camping is beautiful with lots of fruits and deers. the campsite are close to each other with no bushes (no privacy). there was rude campers who went through our campsite at anytime of the day... we would stay there again, very cheap.

A very nicely located National Park campground, good for tents. It is important to get there early, as it is often full by noon or earlier. No reservations. Many sites are under the trees, important during hot months.

This is a beautiful campground nestled among the red rock and sandstone of the area. There are HUGE cottonwood trees and a little river running behind the campground. No reservations here, so we got up for sunrise at Bryce Canyon and headed East! We were lucky to get the next to last spot! No showers, but good sized bathroom and...

After a winding narrow road we were relieved to find campsites available. Our motor home easily fit into many of the available sites but finding one that was straight was a bit more difficult. We were travelling in mid May so fruit was not yet ready in the many orchards but would be an added advantage if you are here...

No reservations accepted. We pulled in Sunday mid-afternoon before Memorial Day. Needless to say it was full. We dispersed camped just West of the park. Got up and tried again at 9:00 and found the perfect spot for us. We stayed four nights and enjoyed ourselves. A little bonus is.. the trail at the back of the campground goes past...
