I must say the hotel itself was okay. The unfriendly service, the ignoring of customer complaints. I could've looked past them all, then I discovered that the breakfast was NOT FREE!!! I mean come on! Every other hotel I've ever been too has free breakfast, but I guess this hotel is just to good to give away their breakfast.

When your the only establishment for miles around its easy to become complacent .The check in at the hotel was very efficient and the room we had overlooking the golf course could not be faulted even the pool is fine however the lack of food outlets is totally inadequate for the number of people visiting and food is average to...

Yes, most reviewers get the facts right about this place (The Inn at Furnace Creek). Expensive, way overpriced, "tired" facilities, mediocre food at high cost in a so-so atmosphere in the restaurant. Well, despite all that, it is still a unique experience. The staff (the most eclectic mix I have ever seen in my life) are mostly out to be...

WARNING - Scam Ahead at this Hotel Let us start this review by saying we loved Death Valley and all of the incredible sites and views along the way. The worst thing about this vacation was staying the Inn at Furnace Creek. We were shocked and stunned at the lack of service and quality they aren't providing for nearly $500...

We had a lovely stay in Furnace Creek. Charming, rustic little wooden chalets with their own driveway for your car. Excellent aircon which is vital in Death Valley and on the whole very clean and comfortable. There's a lovely deep swimming pool too as well as a golf course nearby though God knows how you play in that heat! Really...

I've never stayed in such an expensive ($500+/night) hotel room.....and we weren't even in the most expensive room. Yes, it was comfortable (albeit quite small) and the service was very good. And the grounds and surrounding outdoors were beautiful. But at that price, I really had expected somewhat nicer accommodations. And then to add a 'resort' fee to the charge...

Do not confuse the Inn at Furnace Creek with nearby establishments also named Furnace Creek. The Inn is a first class destination resort. Although I didn't specifically ask, I suspect that the front desk can handle whatever you need in terms of tourist reservations. Major parts of the hotel are 90 years old and it shows in terms of layout...

We splurged and spent 3 nights at Furnace Creek Inn. Loved the room, the property, the views, the restaurant, the service... we had a great time. Lots of good history there. If you haven't figured it out yet, the "Inn" is much higher priced, considered luxury I suppose, while the "Ranch" is more affordable and family friendly. They are about...

We stayed at the Inn - the room was very dated and looked in need of some TLC. The room was very warm in mid March so it must be very hot in the summer. The whole place felt quite old fashioned and a bit tired. Room was big enough but we struggled to find spare plug sockets and ended...

First of all, it's all about location, location, location. And Furnace Creek is right in the smack middle of all touristy things you would like to do at DV. But boy they charge a lot of premium for it. We stayed at the Ranch and I've mixed feelings about this place. Would have loved to give then 3 1/2 *....
