My wife and I stayed at the Ranch (and not the Inn), which is less expensive and less luxurious than the Inn. The staff were friendly, and the nearby restaurant were good. Be prepared for 110F temperatures throughout the Valley.

HEAT in the wallet, since they have a monopoly, Xanterra can charge any price they want, and they do!!! They can do this even though it is a National Park, because the property is private and was there before Death Valley became a National Park.Yes...More
We rustic but comfortable beds. Has ceiling fan and air conditioning. Several different restaurants on property. Nice pool. Bikes available. Saloon has great atmosphere. The wait staff is very friendly
