Stayed two nights at the Ranch. About $180 a night. The Hotel runs closer to $400/night. The menu at the Ranch steak house is the same as the Hotel ($45 entries). Try the bar/cafe for better food value and more FUN! Rooms were fine. Some small maintenance items need to be addressed. Bed side light not working. Felt like I...

My wife and I stayed at the Ranch. You don't stay there because you're looking for lots of amenities. You stay there because Death Valley is an absolutely fabulous must see place and the lodging options are few. We only needed the room for the bed and the plumbing both of which were fine. We had a room on the...

Rooms don't look much from outside,But they have what you need. Complex has got the look of something That is past its prime but still good to make the owners a bit of money. They didn't service the room one day which surprised me a bit. The toilet seat was very loose ,disconcerting. Looked like some interesting stuff for family's...

From the excellent location amidst palms in an oasis, we could quickly travel to many of the most beautiful spots in Death Valley. The staff is excellent and the oil paintings of previous presidents of the 49er club smile on everyone. The pool uses water from the local spring and is a soothing post hike spot. Add a little more...

After seeing gorgeous sights (best ones near by hotel), it was nice to come back to a clean room. We chose a cabin (comfortable and fine for a night or 2 and least expensive of all rooms/$163. The Inn is very pricey and you decide if it's worth it for a night). The best part of the Ranch is "walking"...

We stayed three nights here after staying one night in Stovepipe Wells (SW). This is much busier that SW with bus tours that stop for lunch so there's a lot of people. The one thing I didn't like is the pool is a warm spring-fed pool so it's not refreshing. We stayed in a cabin with 2 double beds, the...

Amazing drive from Yosemite through Tioga Pass to get to a welcomed rest stop at Furness Creek Ranch. We were given an end room which was quiet. The room had doors leading to a verandah overlooking the lawn area and we enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs watching the sun set. The room was plenty big enough and being able...

We stayed at the Ranch for two nights in early November. There was a convention of 49'ers in their trailers etc. and the area was hectic but still did not feel crowded. We had a room at the back of the property overlooking the golf course and it was quiet except for the noisy neighbour's kid. The room was fine...

Only place to stay in Death Valley (not including the more expensive Inn up the road) so rooms are overpriced. However the room is comfortable with a ceiling fan and coffee perculator (which we used to make tea). The swimming pool is lovely and warm and stays open until 11pm. We ate in the 49ers Cafe which was very overpriced....

We stayed at the Ranch at Furnace Creek in November 2013. We found the room to be average for their location inside DVNP. Our room had a view of the golf course and to be honest, I was surprised to see grass in such a harsh environment. I liked the idea that they used refillable bottles for hand soap and...
