To any future guests who are considering staying with us that are reading this review, I would like to take this opportunity to respond to clear up some discrepancies that are listed above. This reviewer sent us an email requesting a 13-night stay, which is outside of the guidelines of our reservation policy. We have a 6-night maximum stay policy,...

We had the octagon private room. The room was very nice, the bathrooms were also good. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and some leftover foods from previous guests. The bonfire and river were very nice, and if you have a car it is the perfect location if you're taking the Denali bus.

We stayed here 3 nights in total. 2 nights in the "splatter rock" cabin and another night in the Yanert cabin. When we checked in we were greeted by Tom, the check in man, shuttle operator, local information service, house keeper and so much more. He alone knew more about the area than both information centers in the park, thanks...

What a wonderful place! It was extremely clean. Staff is amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and clean and plenty of storage. The creek running thru the property is perfect. 3 wonderful restaurants just across the highway. Perfect location away from the tourist trap area of glitter gulch. I wish I could have stayed longer. I think the owners need to...

Hi and thanks for taking the time to leave us another great review on TripAdvisor! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found your accommodations to be comfortable and the atmosphere to be inviting and friendly. We hope to see you again some future summer! Happy trails in the meantime :)

Brilliant value, amazing views (we visited in May, so nearby peaks were snowcapped, the stream was gushing). You can enjoy the view from the common campfire area. The octagon is one of the best common areas I've seen at hostels in the USA, and so are the rooms.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hostel. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the kitchen very well appointed. The chance to meet and talk to other fellow travelers was fun and we met some wonderful people. As a solo female traveler, safety was important to me, but so was an environment where I could make friends. This hostel was perfect for both! The whole place was clean, beds and linens were comfortable, and I met people from all over the world. It was quiet at night and conducive to resting up before a full day of...

THis place is lovely. A bit out of the way if you don't have a car. They do have a shuttle, but it does not run very often. The places closer to the entrance to the park are a little easier to access due to walking distance or shuttles that run more often. With that said, this place is less...

Thank you for your review! We are happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We do hope to one day be able to add more shuttle runs, but for now we are doing our best with two each morning and two each evening to get people from the hostel to the park entrance area while keeping the shuttle free, unlike...

We have been travelling for 5 weeks now and have decided this place was by far the best. We stayed in one of the tents and while it was pretty chilly they provided you with the warmest sleeping bag, a mosquito net and we had the best nights sleep.
